NutriSpheres - Sinking Diet for Snails, Shrimp & Bottom Feeding Fish (3 oz)

My fish love this! I bought this for my shrimp and snails, but when I feed it to them... all my fish(baby fry, swordtail, gouramis, mollies, tetras ect.)want to eat it instead of the food I have for them. Even my betta fish love it. I have a king betta who prefers this over his food, so that's the only thing I feed him now.

DO NOT USE IN A SMALL TANK… do not ..do not ..do not use this in a small tank under 10 gallons it changes the water chemistry dramatically killing off the shrimp!!!! hundreds of dollars loss $$ in tank pets ..The shrimp try it submitted some try and many walk away I don’t know what’s in this but it is toxic to a micro tank.. tank water goes toxic overnight i’m talking about just a few pellets (5) pieces and 10 dead shrimp in AM .

I was disappointed in how small the size of the wafers were. They were hard to see where they were in the tank. The larger wafers are easier to see your snails eating the wafer. The small little balls of waters blend in the substrate . Also I didn’t see even one of my 6 Netrite Snails eat it.

A shrimp favorite

Because it’s such high proteins it raises ammonia and nitrates in the tank. You have to be careful giving this to your fish. Unsure as to the freshness. In my opinion a little on the expensive side for what you get.

Not sure what to say about this product as I received the sinking food yesterday and put some in the equarium but neither the snails or the goldfish will eat it! Took the food out of the tank today and will try again later to see if they will try it. Seems to be a wast of money, but will keep on trying
