Excellent value for the money. Quality of wood is very good. Nice weight for a stable grounded table. I like being able to do my own finish, so this table is a win for me. Description said top of table is butcher block style, which I like and of course allows them to patch together the better pieces of wood to avoid knots. I bought two tables and while one of them has a top to fit that description, the other does not. Both are nice, and now that I notice it I wish they matched but not a deal breaker. See pictures of the table tops - still unfinished. My husband put them together and it all seemed pretty easy. The one tip I would add is that when screwing in the shelf (which is the last step) it is best to push the shelf tight against the leg before attaching as otherwise you can get a small gap between leg and shelf.

I bought this for my son, for his first apartment. The hardware did not include the listed- and required - bolts, flat washers, or lock washers. Instead, the packet included extra screws and L brackets.

Easy to assemble, looks Great! Its solid wood with nice grain, which I will stain cherry.Very good value. I just hope the tree its made from is not endangered. If I had room I'd buy another one.

This is a very nice hard wood end table that took stain well. The shelves finished well with a water base polyacrylic finish. The legs didn't take it as well - I had some peeling that needed more sanding and another coat. I had no trouble assembling the legs to the top but the lower shelf did not have pre-drilled holes. Had to use a power drill on both the shelf and the legs but once done, the table put together well and now looks great in my living room!!

Very happy with this purchase! Finished it with mineral oil just to warm up the color a bit. Highly recommend.

These are a simple design with clean lines & easy to assemble. They are made of Parawood which is very hard, that means it will take more layers of stain but when done right they look good for a fraction of the furniture store price. Hand sand the wood first and it will take the stain a little better.I used a custom stain of 3 coats of color to achieve the desired finish. I then used a spray polyurethane and did 3 coats of a satin finish.Now one year later and one move later and they look just as good as new.

I wanted an unfinished table so I could stain it to match other furniture. This table is solid wood and perfect for staining. I looked at many other tables before selecting this table. I couldn't be happier. Very sturdy, a nice piece of furniture and beautiful.

Awesome Quality Table. Serves as a Copy Room table for my church's Fax machine.Very good quality! Purchase this a while back and am just getting around to doing this review now...., but shipping was prompt and everything was packaged well and intact, and assembly was easy....
