I'm a 38" waist and the XL are perfect on me.

Q: There socks seem to be of very poor quality. Are these trunks any better?

There trunks are of good quality, but quite a snug fit!

I'm 30 - 32 waist and went to 32 - 34 on their size guide. Way too small and no returns. Order with care.
