First time using one with the bore gauge tool. Successfully measured all cylinders. 23 year old engine runs like new so my numbers couldn't have been that far off lol (specs required to be within ten-thousandths of an inch) ;)

Bought this because I needed 3inch to measure some bores and pistons, since my other micros are smaller, this was a great value and it was delivered fast thanks

Got this micrometer and it was just what I ordered. The only thing is that is did not come with the adjustment tool. It was missing.

Works well - smooth operation.

Checked it to my gauge blocks. Out of the box required no adjustment. Was quit surprised.

I'm a 23 Year CNC Machinist and I have bought a lot of Brown & Sharp, Fowler, Starrett, Etc brand tools and I must say that the quality of this $35.00 2-3 In. Mic is equal to a high dollar Starrett Mic. I was totally surprised, I figured that they would be junk but were not. Nice ratchet stop and calibrated to exact Zero when I checked them before use. Don't hesitate if your looking for a starrett Twin.

I would say if you use this sort measuring tool .....professionally Buy the best But for hobby type machinist....even beginning pro These will get you by

Being a home garage mechanic, these are fine. The quality doesn't blow me away, but it's stood up with the work I've done so far. No major complaints here.
