ASICS Women's Everysport II Short

Finally, the perfect running shorts! I'm a serious runner, so I'm always looking for the perfect fitting, no-ride shorts. I generally choose function over fashion, but these are both functional and flattering (such a rarity). These fit the bill so well that immediately after wearing them for the first time I ordered a second pair. They're the right length-not too long or billowy to cause issues with riding, and not too short so I feel like I'm flashing the world. The fabric isn't clingy, and the fit is just right to flatter the legs but not show lumps and bumps. I even like the liner better than in other shorts I have by other, ahem, very popular brands that tend to sell for style over substance. There's no wedgie factor and they don't chafe. Basically, they're perfect! I ordered a medium thinking they may run a little small, but I could probably have gotten away with my normal small (though the medium is comfy and not an issue). I'd say order whatever you'd normally wear as the sizing is pretty accurate.

I am obsessed with these shorts. They are by far the best running shorts I have ever had. They are figure flattering and lightweight, and stay in place when you run. I generally wear a size 6 pant and the size medium in these shorts is perfect, not too tight and not too baggy. They just lightly skim the leg, hip, and tush. I have 4 pairs in different colors and did notice that the bondi blue/ crystal pair is cut slightly smaller than the others, but not enough to warrant returning them. They still look and feel great.

I got my first pair of these for a ridiculously low price and love them so much I've bought three more pairs in different colors. I've been running for ten years and have always been frustrated when trying to find good shorts that don't ride up, don't hug too tight and don't make me look like I'm wearing a flapping butterfly around my hips. I've got a slim build so the standard (and ever so popular right now even among non-runners) tempo split shorts are incredibly un-flattering for me. They make my legs look like they are swimming in a big billow of extra fabric. These Asics Everysport Shorts, though, appear similar in design to the split shorts but the fabric is stretchy and thin so they fit close but without hugging close like volleyball or compression shorts do. They are low-wasted, too, so they don't feel like they're riding up as I run. Finally, the little zipper pocket on the back is just right! Way better than the typical flap pocket on the inside front. Sizing? Seems true. I'm 5'5" & 130 lbs and the medium is a perfect fit.

I bought these for running. They are comfy when on, but as soon as I start running they ride right up and become uncomfortable. They will probably be nicer to use at the gym.

Trust the reviews. These were VERY VERY short shorts. I would say the size fits true but they were short.

I'm picking up running again and wanted to buy some shorts with liners. The neon yellow, wow color, is a very bright/fluorescent color, just what I expected. I ordered a size large because I usually wear large in yoga pants and underwear. These are form fitting. The picture of the ladie's rear is accurate except I've got a little extra flesh in the bum so the shorts don't loosen up around the legs, they skim everything from start to finish. They aren't obscene or uncomfortable, just a bit more showy than I had thought they would be. That being said, I'm quite happy with them. :)

Shorts appear to be of a reasonable length but are extremely short.

These shorts are amazing. They are comfortable, breathable, they don't squeeze at the waistband as some shorts in this style do and the liner was a perfect fit for me. They wash really well and maintain their shape. You can't beat the quality and great look of these shorts for the price.
