**Q: Do dry erase markers smudge on these?**
A: Any dry-erase surface having dry-erase marker on it will smudge. It is not meant to be permanent unless you use a sharpie.

**Q: How many would you say you can get out of 1 roll?**
A: It's a 25 foot roll. That's 300 inches. I'm using them to label tool box drawers, cutting them 4 to 6 inches long. If you need to fit more information, or need to write really big, they might need to be longer. So I'd say anywhere from 75 labels at 4 inches to 25 labels at 12 inches. I've even cut some of them in half lengthwise for a few of my small drawers. Hope this helps. BTW, I recommend buying a better marker.

**Q: Will 2 strips of this stick together? Well enough to hold a piece of clear plastic between.**
A: They are pretty weak.

**Q: Has anyone tried wet erase markers on these? Wet erase don't work on all whiteboard type surfaces.**
A: You can use a wet-erase marker on these strips. One is included in this set as well.

This magnetic tape holds well. I used it for a 24 X 8 inch piece of cardboard which was bent to direct hot/cold air from a vent either up or down instead of hitting me directly. I used three pieces of tape, 3.25", 5" & 3.25" on both ends and longer piece in the middle to hold it on the top of the AC/Htg unit in my apartment. Cheap and easy fix since my desk chair sits right in front of this vent.
