I love this crockpot so freaking much! I knew I wanted one with a clip on lid so I can travel with it. But I never expected I would love this so much. I'm obsessed with using my crockpot for everything. (I have more spoons in the morning than in the afternoon, so cooking in the crockpot works for me!) I wanted to make ribs. I have beef ribs and they didn't fit in my older normal sized pot. So I pulled out my big baby and not only did the ribs fit, but I had room for potatoes AND onions! Like are you kidding me!? Mother-in-laws eat your heart out! Be the queen of the family gathering! No mess on the drive, plenty enough for everyone, and so easy. Love love love

Very large crock pot it is deeper than most same size opening as standard large crock pot. I bought it as a second hand (I guess it was returned so I saved money. Heats well. I like the locking lid and rubber seal around the lid. It made carrying it to a party super convenient. My favorite crockpot I have ever had.The outside is made of a lighter weight metal and it could dent easily it seems if not careful.

Simple and familiar! I bought this crockpot for my airbnb. Guests have already noted that they are so happy we have a classic slow cooker with easy to use settings VS one with a ton of digital options. The quality is excellent for the price, it cleans well in the dishwasher even with stuck on messes, doesn’t take up too much pantry space, and the locking lid is perfect to prevent accidental spill after cooking and keeps the lid on when stored so it doesn’t fall and shatter. Would buy again, but hopefully never have to!

I have a smaller Hamilton Beach slow cooker for 10 years It still works great! I got the 10 quart delivered today because I'm making a very big batch of seafood stew. I love the fact that the handles clamp on to the lid for an extra seal. The lid fits perfect and this was easy to use right out of the box. I've been taste testing my stew and it's excellent, I'm cooking it on high and it should be done this afternoon. There are three temperatures, low, high and warm. It heated up quickly for me.

It is big and yes you can load a lot more veggies in the bottom and larger sized meat to feed up to 7 or 8 people (I don't think 12 as advertised unless it's soup, chili or stew). So it's great because it holds so much, but be aware this beast runs hot even on the low setting. With the high setting you have a virtual inferno going on! In addition, be careful, the OFF on other crock pot dials is a turn LEFT on the dial, this one the LEFT turn is HIGH. After making a big dinner, my husband thought he turned it off and cranked it left, everyone sat down and ate an hour later came back, and left was high, and things were boiling! Suggestions so far after two dishes, one ham and the other a 5.2 lb. Prime Tip roast with carrots and small potatoes, always use the LOW setting and frankly, take off 1 hour, maybe 2 hours of expected done time and check! Both of our dishes were filled up with only the recommended 1" to 2" from the rim. Their instructions indicate, if you only fill the slow cooker half way, to take 1 to 2 hours less off the cooking time. Given our experience with fully filled uses, I can't even imagine filling it only halfway! We have 2 other smaller crock pots, suggest only using this beast If you fill it up 1 or 2 inches below the rim and still watch it like a hawk.

This is a big pot and it is perfect!!! I will be ordering a couple more!!!

This was a used (or at least not new) item but no problems with condition or cleanliness, just the carton was kinda shredded. The large size was just perfect for my intended use, preparing foods for pressure canning. The unit runs on the hot side, as do all the newer slow cookers, but just fine for me and even on 'keep warm' bubbled enough to leave me with no worries when pressure canning 18 pints of chili. Well done, would buy again (except I don't need two). Two thumbs up.
