The media could not be loaded.  I bought this after loosing my last phone down an ice fishing hole. My intentions were less about keeping it dry, but more so looking for the floatation aspect. I wouldn't say I am 100% confident that if this plunked down a hole with my phone it that I'd be able retrieve it, but it does give more piece of mind. When I'm using in the fish house, the lanyard is around my neck. And when I'm not using it, it's stored securely, far away from any holes.I don't see any use for the armband but I have used it to secure it to other objects.I saved the best for last! I used the pouch on a beach vacation to Aruba last January. It worked perfectly! Kept the phone dry and free of sand. My wife and I were snorkeling and came across some sea turtles, I did not have my phone for fear it would get lost, wet, whatever. We also did not have an under water camera. I was desperate to get a photo of these beautiful sea creatures. I swam back got my phone and was willing to take the chance. This pouch performed perfectly!! I was able to submerge my phone (I only went down a couple feet) and got some great, clear photos and videos of the sea turtles and other aquatic life. I was VERY impressed. We are heading back to Aruba next year and I will be purchasing these pouches for my whole family!!

So far so good. I bought this to use on my kayak when I go fishing. I was looking for something to protect my phone from getting splashed on, or from an accidental drop. I did the recommended paper towel test and it stayed dry. This made me more confident about putting my $900 phone in it, but I still wouldn't intentionally submerge my phone in water. I wanted to be able to take my phone with me to take pictures and listen to music. This case makes me feel comfortable with doing so. I use the lanyard to attach it to my kayak and it is just long enough where I can grab my phone and use it while not having to detach it. The touch screen works pretty good and taking pictures also works well. I have a Galaxy S7 with an Otterbox Defender case and it fits with a little extra space. I can't speak to the floating feature because I will not intentionally put my phone in the waterk. However, I would bet my phone would float due to the buoyancy it had when I was trying to weigh it down during the paper towel test.

This summer I took up kayaking and while I wholeheartedly intend on keeping my kayak upright, I figured that mistakes happen and that means it would be a good time to invest in a waterproof pouch for my phone.I have a Samsung Galaxy S9, the regular one, not the pro. And it currently has a durable (see also: thick) case on it, along with a popsocket on the back. It fits in the case perfectly with no obstruction of the camera, but I will say that if you have a popsocket on your phone, due to the somewhat sticky nature of the plastic and the somewhat tight opening it will make it a bit more difficult to get in and out but it certainly isn't impossible. If you take off the popsocket or even take off the case, the Galaxy S9 fits in with no problem.It does indeed float when put into the water, even with the weight of a phone in it, and when I was playing around with it and submerged my phone into the water to get a nice underwater picture, there was absolutely no water found in the case when it came back out. I will note, I haven't tested it submerging it deeply, so I can't speak on that. In my case the phone was submerged about 4 to 5 inches.The thickness of the case does make it somewhat difficult to use the touch screen, unfortunately, but honestly I think that is to be expected of any waterproof pouch. I think the only way you are going to get a great touch screen use is if you invest in a full on waterproof case, but if you aren't going to be exposing your phone to water and other elements a lot, then this pouch will do just great.It also comes with a nice little lanyard, perfect for attaching to the kayak. While this case does float, personally I'd rather not have to worry about my phone floating away while I deal with my tipped kayak, should I ever tip it.

I’ve not went under water and took videos with this! But, my family and I went to Soaky Mountain water Park. Where I used it for 7 hours, riding all water slides, getting soaked, taking photos and videos! It never did get water inside! There was a few times where it kindof got smeared and a little foggy on the outside near the end of our time there! But I believe that’s much expected when your in and out of water all day and it was very hot! Plus it could have been where I used it for 7 hours haha but that never really bothered me although I did have to be mindful of it to take good photos!

It keeps my phone dry. I tested it first as they suggested and when I used it kayaking my phone stayed dry. I was also able to text and make calls while it was in the case. It’s cute too.also it does float.

This phone case is really good. Tested it out in water. Came out as dry as can be. The touch screen works well. Took a picture, looked at messages, etc. all while in the case. So happy to have my phone protected while kayaking.

I was quite hesitant to but this product because I had recently damaged (Aug 2020) 1 phone (Samsung 8+) by strapping it on my arm out canoeing; the Canoe tipped and the phone (apparently water resistant) was lost due to water damage; I purchased this product and tried it in Sep 2020 for a portage trip (backcountry); faced incessant rain common in northers Ontario; the real test was on Labor Day Weekend, I canoed out in Algonquin for a 3 day trip; faced rain, hail (yes, hail) and rain throughout the 3 days; also I had to step in water to help my paddling partner, slipped on the footing landed in the lake; all through this time this case was around my neck; no issues whatsoever; phone worked like a charm and phone was absolutely dry. Highly recommend this product; The only drawback: check size of your phone; my new one's an S10...so it's a little small for this case; again, a super case (no doubt)!!!

Tested this in the bathroom tub to ensure it was fully functioning before taking it out for the real deal. Works perfectly and did not let in any water or moisture. Hopefully this will last a while. Great for protecting any small items that can't get wet. Not just for phones.
