SJOLIE Rapid Spray Tan Solution - Luxe Ultra One Hour Express Tan - Violet Base | Sunless Tanner for a Quick-Drying, Ultra Dark Glow (32oz)

Wife has a hard time using self tanner and always complains about being too orange. We got a cheap spray gun to use this with and works great. Color turned out awesome! Nice warm tan look, no streaking, tan has held solid for a week and a half with no issues. Will be buying again.

I could talk about this self-tanning solution for days. My neighbor and I bought a spray tanning kit. We had no idea what we were doing, but it didn't matter because we had this solution... We have had overspray, where it was dripping down our backs, we had splotchy areas, I put drying powder on my chest/neck too soon after a spray and it looked like I would have a huge pale spot on my neck/chest, but all these different times, there was NEVER any sign of a mess up. Produces the most flawless tan. Not orange at all. Beautiful finish on red or olive undertone skin. I will buy this product over and over again.

the color is super nice and dark but i had a reaction to it and was super itchy im sensitive skinned so it made sense but first tanner i had a reaction too im so upset bc the color was so dark especially next to bondi sands ultra dark the swatch is in the picture !!! im naturally very pale the color stayed dark even after i rinsed

Let me start by saying I really love the color this product gives. It absolutely looks natural & not orange thanks to the violet undertones. It works quickly (although I try to shower at night when I use this & wait 24 hrs HOWEVER I have showered the following morning & it was fine).I think this is one of the better spray tan products I have tried. It's not sticky like a lot of brands, and it's not just absolutely ridiculous with the color because frankly some if them are- it's weird to leave work on Friday & come back Monday looking like I've been in the tropics for 3 months. Luckily, I work from home but you feel me, right?What do I NOT like? Well, there is one thing: this stuff tends to get very, very blotchy as the days wear on. This creates a situation where you absolutely have to keep applying every couple days even if you don't want to.What I do as a workaround is that I actually mix it with a brand that I don't like as much, but that is less prone to do this.I've also considered buying the version of this same brand that is supposedly for "fair skin" as I'm wondering if I mix the two, perhaps the fade will be less noticeable because no one wants to be walking around out here looking like a speckled goose egg.

This was the worst spray tanner I have ever purchased, unfortunately. It's runny, takes a long time to dry, even so, it's sticky, smells weird, the color is way too brown and not a natural/pretty look. I ended up refunding a few of my clients because it was that bad. Very disappointing, considering the other positive reviews about it.

Great stuff! Deep, dark brown tan

I have a Norvelle spray tan gun. Of course, when I started I bought Norvelle solutions. I've tried Norvelle Double Dark and Venetian. I've also tried the Sjolie Icon Reserve. My daughter is a cheerleader, so she likes to keep her tan looking natural all year round without looking splotchy or dry. When I sprayed the LUXE in her it was a game changer. Now, I think it may take a little longer to dry down, but nothing crazy. Not sticky or stinky and she really loves it. I'll set the gun on the air setting only and I made her drying powder out of Cocoa Powder and Arrowroot powder and she dusts it on the skin to skin areas. (I found how to make it on YouTube). Sometimes she won't shower the next morning and it's fine. She'll shower that evening (24 hours after tanning) and the color is so pretty and natural. My daughter is 16 and she worries about looking natural and not made up....I highly recommend (and so will she) this LUXE solution. I posted a couple of pictures of her with her tan, but honestly the pictures are dark and don't do justice to the results you'll get with this solution. I'll try to find better pictures that shows the tan in better light.

I am a frequent (1-2X per week) user of self tanner. I had tried the mousses, wipes, sprays, etc. from the local stores and was looking for a faster and smoother way to apply self tanner. I first purchased the hand held mister along with Norvell Premium Sunless Tanning Solution - Dark. This product gave a great color and the added Bronzer made application easier because you could visibly tell where it had been applied and where it had not. The down side to it was it needed quite a while to develop and it made my skin itch like it was too dry. That being said I bought this product thinking maybe something in the Norvell I was allergic too.This product for one, also made me itch. Although, that is no fault of the seller. However what I did not like about the product itself is that I did not feel like it worked. I followed the instructions to a T. I did not do any of the suggested things to avoid day of the spray tan. I left the solution (which is rather sticky BTW much more than Norvell and the other drug store brands) on my skin for just over 4 hours. When I got in the shower to rise with luke warm water and no soap I was sadly disappointed at what little difference I saw in color. I applied two coats to my face, neck, chest and arms and it looks like nothing is tanned. It did however take to my hands despite the exfoliation the day before, using the mitt to smooth the liquid in, the lotion prior to application and hand washing. It has been 4 days post application for the first time and it is giving me a splotchy dirty appearance the way it is fading. I will not purchase this product again and stick with Norvell.
