Nice Product
I use this to charge the phone on my BMWK1600 (2015 year). I connect a USB cable to it and run it to the phone mounted near my handlebars. It does the job. The build quality appears to be good, and I like the indicator light that confirms it is working.Update (Long overdue update) - This this stopped working about 2 months after I purchased it.

Great until piece inside broke loose
Worked great for about 1.5 months. Really small and sits snugly in the DIN connector. Charges your phone quickly as well. Was great until it stopped working and I heard some rattling inside. Turns out a PFC coil snapped off from its connector and no longer charges. The connector is minuscule and looks like it would be prone to break in the future.The unit was never dropped and neither was the bike with it plugged in. Just be aware that there's a chance it can break.

It works, is lightly weather resistant
Does the job. Charges everything I need. Seems very well made compared to the junky cheaper models.Auto shutdown feature is highly annoying. It cuts off after an hour when the bike is off. That’s good. It doesn’t always come back on without taking it out and plugging it back in. That’s annoying.

Exactly what I needed for my motorcycle
low profile allowed the handlebars to clear the adaptor and I love the 1 hour of standby charging. Without that feature chargers can drain your battery and then keep the bike from starting. This unit turns off 1 hour after the engine is shut down, providing some charging but no drained battery!

I'm using this on my BMW K1600GT to power my phone with a wireless Quad Lock mount on the bike. In doing research....there are many USB chargers with the DIN mount for the bike that don't shut off when the bike is not running. They also aren't weatherproof. This Tecmate is both. It's been working great. I go on long rides playing music from my phone to bluetooth speakers in my helmet never having to worry about draining the battery in my phone. It's solid, weatherproof, I still have an extra USB port if I need it and it shuts off so it doesn't kill my bike battery. A great choice!!!
