Needs a longer usbc
My only issue with this is the length of the usbc plug. Every sane person has a case on their phone and this usbc doesnโt reach, doesnโt even come close to reaching. So if Iโm keeping this, I need to buy a usbc to usbc extender and hope I donโt lose it. That or risk the phone on a tripod without a case, which I wonโt do. However, The sound is noticeably fantastic compared to the iPhone 17 pro built in mic.

Godox is killing it - fantastic wireless mic kit w/ great performance, design, value
Been a longtime photographer and Godox has been my favorite, trusted brand in lighting; Godox never disappointed before, and now their wireless microphones is also fantastic. Very happy with performance; sound quality, no noticeable latency, range, battery life, build quality, small case/form factor, and... at this price of mere $35! And for the complete package of 2 microphones, 1 receiver, and a charging case - that's a compact and well built kit of great value. And I won't even get into how nicely and thoughtfully designed this kit is; the charging, and LED lights and buttons, all very intuitive, practical, and convenient to use. How I tested - plug in the receiver to my iPhone, and no initial/additional setup was necessary. Microphones were paired and powered on when the case is opened. Put it on and simply start recording video. From 50+ ft away through walls and outside the door, the range no problem and sound quality perfect; no connectivity issues whatsoever, consistent sound quality. Battery life was more than long enough - I couldn't ever quite run out of juice in any single session, and Godox claims 55 hours. To put things in perspective, I also own much more expensive, the latest DJI MIC MINI Kit (charging case, 2 wireless microphones/transmitter, one receiver, 4 wind cutter/dead cat for $179 normal; $80 during holiday deal) which offers a similar configuration as this Godox Kit. DJI Kit claims battery life of 48 hours. But look at the photos for size comparison (Pic.9-12), in which the bigger DJI charging case has a lot of unused space. Conclusion: Godox is just as good in performance (sound quality, latency, range, battery life) but in much smaller & portable form factor and with just as nice in build quality, design, compatibility & usability. The only thing I couldn't compare was noise reduction - as I usually record in quiet settings. Yet the price difference? $35 for Godox Kit vs. $80 ($179 normally) for DJI MIC MINI Kit. Sure, DJI is much bigger name especially in drones, action cams, but I'm not so sure if the brand value alone can bridge that price gap. Certainly DJI's receiver having more features, like physical knobs for channels is nice, and great for more technical operations, features, but I'm NOT a professional YouTuber and don't fiddle with them anyways. One thing certain is that Godox Kit is superb and extremely great value for money - rather than DJI MIC MINI Kit being any kind of unreasonable rip off. I'll continue to also use DJI MIC Kits to maximize integration with my Osmo Nano, but for everything else, especially any phone-based videos (hence requiring a receiver), Godox wins hands down - impressive performance, nice design, simple operation, build quality, better portability, at a great price. Highly recommended!! Pros: - Performance: sound quality, latency, range, battery life - Design: compact case, simple, very intuitive setup & operation - Price that can't be beat Cons - Due to the location of USB-C port on the inner tray cover, you may inadvertently end up pressing it in and releasing the case open while trying to plug in a USB cable (a minor nitpick) *Pictures: Packaging Box: Pic.1-2 What's included: Pic.3-7 Microphone & Magnet: Each microphone has no pic/clip but instead a magnet that can be used to put it on clothes, etc. (Pic.6) Size Comparison: vs. Apple AirPods Pro 3 (Pic.8) Size Comparison: vs. DJI MIC MINI Kit (Pic.9-12)

Super simple to use and sounds very good!
These are my new favorite wireless mics, and I own the DJI Mic 2! The good: - These are so simple to use. Plug-&-play, simply plug the receiver into your phone or laptop and take the mics out of the case. They pair instantly. Long press to set the gain (low - single flash, medium - two flashes, high - three flashes Short press to turn on/off the noise cancelling (orange is noise cancelling) - The sound quality is excellent for the price! - The receiver is incredibly small, making it perfect for use with a phone. - The receiver has pass through charging. it was able to pass through all 65 watts from a 65 watt charger to my MacBook Pro. - The whole package is so small and lightweight that it's easy to carry with you. I was happy with my DJI Mic 2 size, but after using these I now prefer to carry these when I might have a need for wireless mics, but don't want to carry my full DSLR setup. - The mics are so small and easy to hide on the talent. - The battery life is super long! I used them on a 2+ hour video call and they did not lose power. They're advertised as 9 hours per transmitter. I haven't tested that length, but it's nice to know they last longer than any recording I've ever done. The okay: - The noise cancelling feature is just okay. it works well, but doesn't sound as good as using a noise removal tool in video editing software, so I don't use it. It would be great for live use, like live-streaming outdoors or in a noisy environment. - They don't work with DSLRs, as there is no 3.5mm out on the receiver. - The sound quality is not quite as good as the DJI 2. But it's 90% as good at a fraction of the price. The bad: - There's no included deadcat windscreen. It wouldn't fit in the charging case if they were included, but it would be nice for outdoor recording. These are amazing mics for the price. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

A Must-Have for XTRA MUSE or DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Users!
I paired the GODOX C01 KIT2 with my XTRA Muse aka DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for a local live event, and the performance was flawless. Setup: It was true plug-and-play. The USB-C receiver fits perfectly and didn't interfere with my rig. You can make adjustments to the Volume or Gain: low, medium, & high, based on the button press on the Receiver and the LED flashes to indicate what level. Range & Connectivity: The 200M range is incredibly reliable. I was able to move freely around the event space without any audio dropouts or glitches, even when I wasn't in a direct line of sight. The low latency ensured that my audio stayed perfectly in sync with the video throughout the day. Battery Life: This is the standout feature. My event lasted over 9 hours, and these mics didn't break a sweat. The advertised 54-hour total battery life feels very realistic based on my experience. Portability: At only 7g, the transmitters are so light they don't tug on clothing, making them much more comfortable than the standard DJI Mic 2 for long days. For any creator using a USB-C setup like the DJI Pocket 3, this kit offers professional 48kHz/24-bit audio with the kind of reliability you'd expect from much more expensive gear.

Good, compact wireless mics
These wireless mics are TINY, lightweight, and easy to hide. They feel very solidly built and have a single button to control power and turning noise reduction on and off. Sound quality is very good and the noise reduction mode works very well. It's only attachable by magnet since there is no clip, so it would have been a good idea to add spare magnets. Battery life is very good, though it requires the case to charge. The receiver is compact, but it's very wide so if you are going to use it on a desktop computer, it will block ports. A USB-C extension cable would have been nice, though this is clearly targeted to phone users. It does get recognized on Windows 10+ as an audio device. The feature that would have made this great would be channel separation where each mic would be on a separate channel. It mixes both mics to one signal, which leaves zero room for post production if using both mics. Overall, this is a good spare mic set to throw in a kit. It's easy to hide on a person, and audio quality is good, but I would not both at the same time unless in a pinch.
