Love iFit, no way to use headphones
I blame myself for not researching appropriately, but there is no way to use your own headphones with this machine. It's kind of shocking to me, I just assumed any machine would have this as standard. But no. No headphone jack, no Bluetooth. Nothing. So everyone in the vicinity gets to hear me hike through the Alps.Otherwise I really like the machine. For the price, it's very good quality. The iFit program is really great, I love the guided workouts. Being able to trek through mountains or go for beach runs is a HUGE benefit for me. I would otherwise get way too bored with the treadmill. I don't particularly like the studio workouts, but there are so many ones outdoors to choose from that I may never get through them all.I paid for Amazon assembly. It took him a solid 3 or 4 hours and he definitely knew what he was doing. I am so glad I didn't attempt to put this thing together myself. Well worth the assembly fee.

Provides all the right things for the right price
Really enjoying the ProForm 800i treadmill so far.- Make sure you pay for installation by a professional. Trust me, it's faster/easier that way.- The 14" touchscreen HD screen is what makes this treadmill awesome. iFit is expensive, but amazing. Looks great on the 14" screen. Thankfully, iFit is free for the first year, a $396 value.- If you run slower than 5 minute miles (i.e. most people!) the power/speed of this treadmill will be perfect for you.- Not only does this treadmill have incline, but it has decline too! It only goes down -2 but it's noticeable when running an iFit program that goes downhill.- The shock absorbers are a nice touch.- The speakers are surprisingly good. They are loud enough to cope with the music and iFit audio.- The button layout to change speed and incline are really nice/clever. Instead of cycling through every speed (4.1, 4.2, 4.3 etc. (which you can still do if you prefer to...)) you can just press the easily accessible 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12 buttons instead.- Great design, looks modern, contemporary, nice design.- Folds up/away nicely.- Two drinks holders/compartments for drinks and/or keys etc...- Pretty decent that there's real/contemporary music piped in during, before, or after iFit runs. You can turn it on, off, change the volume, but sadly you cannot pick the songs or skip to the next song.- The heart-rate monitor built into the handles is a nice included feature.- You can plot a map in Google maps and "run" the course. The images are simply sequenced photos (like what you see navigating Google maps in a browser) but it's still a great way to make the run fun, interactive, and less monotonous.- The width of the treadmill belt is slightly narrower than treadmills at a gym but it's still sufficient. I am 6ft tall and I am able to run on the belt without any issues whatsoever.- I was surprised by the length of the belt/treadmill, it's pretty long which is a really nice touch, you never have to worry about falling off the end or running out of space if you have a long stride.- It's built pretty well. Some of the finishes are higher end "plastic", but it looks really well designed, solid, and appears to be durable. Only time will tell however!- Haven't used it yet, but as well as the 14" touchscreen, there's a holder built in for tablets/mobile devices. PErfect for watching sport or movies should you be so inclined.Downsides / things to be aware of:- iFit charged me $396 even though I entered the free, included 1-year subscription included with the treadmill! Be sure to check your statements! They reimbursed me immediately when I contacted them.- The built in fan, while useful, is a little loud. Just put your own fan to the side of the treadmill.- There was oil on the treadmill belt. The assembler pointed it out to me. Not a big deal but still, for this money you want it to be perfect out of the box.- Assembler couldn't get one piece of the arm to fit flush. It's not that noticeable but still, when you pay for installation, you want to get it right.- While the touchscreen is awesome, it has a little clunky interface. The text is smaller than it needs to be and with small icons/buttons you have to press a couple of times to hit it at the right place. Note to iFit/ProForm interface designers - use bigger text and buttons to make it easier for users to select what they want!- While running with an iFit video is an awesome motivator, their interface is not very well thought out. There's no proper way to sort all their training programs/videos, you just have to keep scrolling through them to fin the one you want. If iFit or ProForm are reading, add the ability to sort videos/programs by mileage/distance, intensity, time, location, pace etc.- The belt is a little janky at slow speed. It feels like it's not smooth and not "solid" enough. Perfectly normal at "normal" and "high" speeds however. Probably due to the motor.- It's annoying that the iFit membership included only covers one person. But you can pay extra for family membership if you want to.- Why did they not put bluetooth into this?! 14" HD screen but no bluetooth?! Come on, that's pretty cheap of ProForm. I guess it protects their other models. There IS a 3.5mm auxillary input connection however, so just get a 3.5mm audio cable to connect from your phone to the treadmill to play your tunes through the built-in speakers.- I'm not sure if it's some kid of power saving feature, but after a few days of inactivity, the treadmill completely switches itself off. Kinda weird. All other times, there is a screensaver with some pretty HD, scenic pictures that are dimmer to save energy. I have to unplug the treadmill and plug it back in to reset it. Kinda weird like I say.Overall:Great bang for buck. Best treadmill I could find for around $900-$1,000. If you really want to give iFit a try (you should), having a 14" HD touchscreen is the best way to do it. I researched a LOT of treadmills and even though this has a less powerful motor, it works perfectly and is very suitable for me and my family. I run around 60 miles a month and I can run a 5k in about 25 minutes and the treadmill handles this speed/mileage very easily. My wife also uses the treadmill at a slower pace but she uses it for a lot of walking and is working out great for her too. Really looking forward to using the treadmill to keep in shape throughout the year and use the iFit programs on a regular basis. You will only need a faster and more powerful motor if you are a very serious runner who can run faster than 5 minute miles on a regular basis.Is it perfect? No. Is it hard to find a perfect treadmill at a good price? Yes. Is this treadmill going to help you keep in shape, last well, be motivating, and be useful to the majority of people wanting a treadmill? Yes. Does this treadmill look clean and modern? Yes. Am I happy with the purchase? Despite the disappointing assembly (which shouldn't really influence the review of the actual treadmill) I am currently very happy with the purchase and can recommend. Don’t trust Amazon to complete the assembly you pay for
I received my ProForm treadmill yesterday after the original delivery date was unable to be met with no advanced notification and I waited around and called Amazon 3 times. I received it yesterday and the delivery guys brought it to the room of my choice. Amazon confirms in writing that the delivery guys would also be completing the assembly o paid for. Guess what... no they do not! I then had this huge treadmill with no one to set it up as I paid for. Even though I have it in writing and paid for it now Amazon has no reference of assembly being requested. I read a review on here where a girl said she did it herself in 4 hours. After 3 hours I was 75% complete doing it myself. That last 25% there is no way you can do without a 2nd person. My friend came over and it took us another 2 hours. 5 hours all together of my time and frustration even though I requested and paid for assembly. The treadmill is not as stable feeling as my last but it seem nice. IFit still requires you to give them your credit card number for an auto renew even with your free trail or you can’t use it. I have very mixed feelings so far and would never again trust Amazon for assembly.

Parts like to get loose! Don't the money on a tech without checking first!
Overall love this treadmill, I am heavy set so it handles me perfectly. Only down side is parts like to get loose in the motherboard, first time I thought it was broken the power cord connection got loose on the inside so it wasn't adjusting incline and then not turning on. If you take the top off where the motor is you can see ton of connections, gently press each one firmly in to make sure they are connected all the way. Second time it was incline that wouldn't calibrate, custom service told me it's the motor, I took it apart again and found red (multi pin) item that got slightly loose. Moral of the story, before you spend $150++ on repairs make sure nothing got loose! Both times super easy fixes.

Quit working
I used this product for less than a year. Didn't use it for six months and now won't even turn on. I also couldn't activate the warranty because I purchased it on Amazon and received no reply when I tried to contact customer service.

Worth the wait
A great product. Household is enjoying iFit! A little assembly assistance was needed but that was minor. Highly recommend this product. It was worth the two month wait! Thank you!
