Been using Vallejo paints for a few years, very high quality acrylics for model making. This matte finish is a high quality finish that leaves a matte finish and protects. I've used it on chromed parts, especially hub caps and wheels, to replicate aluminum parts and it works quite well. Applies easily, can be brushed or sprayed with air brush. i use distilled water to thin. Hardens to a good finish for acrylic surfaces, and easy to clean up with water!

Great for basing. I alternate between basing materials and this. It helps keep it all down and rigid. And ofcourse, it works great on the model itself. Love this stuff.

Very easy to use. I diluted the varnish with Vallejo Thinner (50:50). Sprays easily and leaves an even, matte, and clear coat.

Dries well and color is always true. Amazing brand of paint for hobbies!

This product is excellent and performs its intended function effectively. I particularly appreciate that it appears white upon application, allowing me to clearly see where the product is being applied, and then transitions to a clear finish, imparting a beautiful shine to 3D resin prints. The consistency is thin, and it dries quite rapidly. For my own reassurance, I prefer to allow a few hours after application before handling the item. A small amount of this product goes a long way, providing ample coverage, and it offers good value for its cost.

I don’t know who Matt is but he makes a mean varnish

Works very well. Easy application with an old brush. Dries as described.

If you need a varnish that is a true matte this is not going to work for you. However, if you need a slightly less glossy satin finish this is a nice varnish that is easy to apply.

Vernice protettiva valida, soprattutto per chi cerca un effetto opaco. Si stende facilmente e asciuga in tempi abbastanza rapidi. Una volta asciutta lascia una finitura davvero opaca, senza lucidità. Protegge bene la superficie senza alterare troppo i colori sottostanti. Consiglio di applicarla in strati leggeri per evitare accumuli o segni. Pro: ✔ effetto opaco reale ✔ facile da stendere ✔ asciugatura rapida Contro: ✖ nulla in particolare da segnalare Conclusione: buona scelta per proteggere e opacizzare senza complicazioni.
