The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Mythology

I got this book for my 10-year old niece for Christmas. Granted she's an avid reader, but I was SHOCKED when it arrived and I realized just how thorough (read: HUGE) this book is! Holy cow you could knock a man out with a swing to the head with this sucker! I was a little embarassed that it was so large and thought it would be intimidating to my niece, but much to my surprise, she LOVED it!

I purchased the book a couple of years ago and lost it during a move. I love the book so much I purchased it again. The illustrations are bold and colorful and the historical backdrops to the legends are to the point. Also I can appreciate the differences the myths take on as they transition in other cultures. If you like mythology, this is the ultimate and the price cant be beat.

Although this was a library book, it goes beyond meeting my expectations. I purchased this after hearing my 7 year old nephew was extremely interested in mythology. Being that this is his Christmas present I am so happy with my purchase and I know my nephew is going to love it. I highly recommend this buyer and will also use this buyer for future purchases. I liked how it went through a lot of the basics of mythology and a lot of ones I hadn’t known story really behind, but I was also expecting more hidden myths that’s not normally in known. Still filled with much knowledge but still get questions if you follow it…

A manual for what we have recorded of evolutionary myth.

this has it all! so much information on anything you could think of in mythology! i first saw it in my friends house on her coffee table and i read some of it and i had to order one! it was so interesting!

Un enciclopedia fatta veramente bene ed arricchita da tante illustrazioni a colori. Ip prezzo è esoso, ma se si ha fortuna si può trovare una copia di seconda mano a meno di €10 come quella che ho presa. Perfetta, sembra nuovo. Ha un po' odore di umido ma non da fastidio e penso andrà facendolo arieggiare.

I love the art illustrations of the gods, goddesses. The art helps to create a interesting perspective of the legends.I am someone who always prefers a mix of both images and text. So this was a fantastic find.The book arrived in good condition. Maybe a few pages were stuck with a tiny bit of moisture.I would just encourage amazon or sellers . To use more thicker moisture proof packaging layers.

This is a great reference book to have at your fingertips love it.

I was so excited to get this book! I took it out of the package and it felt so gross! I threw the book jacket in the trash and am currently airing it out as it smells horrendous!
