Fox Run Oven Rack Push/Pull Kitchen Ruler, 0.25 x 1.25 x 16.5 inches, Brown

I like the shape of this better than many of the others that came up on my search, and it works well for pulling-out and pushing-in hot oven racks. When I saw that it had a magnet, I was happy as that meant that I could hang it on the nearby fridge keeping it handy and easy to find, but alas, the magnet is not strong enough to hold it, and it just falls off. I have many other magnets on the fridge, so I know that it would stay, if the magnet were stronger. It still works for its primary purpose, and I will probably attach a stronger magnet to be able to hang it on the fridge, but I took away a star, because it does not work entirely as expected as it came.

3.10.22 First thing I checked was the magnet and like all the other reviews that complained about it I found that the magnet was terrible! After all the reviews, you would think that they would have improved that!The wood is a little thicker than a standard yardstick so I was disappointed but I don't think that will affect the usefulness of the device.I had one made by my son in high school shop class and have used it for 30 years until it got packed up for the remodel of my kitchen. Now I can't find it so after doing much baking and wishing I had that, I bought this one.I do think it will last many years. I just wish the magnet would hold to the oven!!!

Bought this for a stocking stuffer for a person that wanted one. The ruler on it is handy as well as the magnet on the back. Thank you for a good product at a reasonable price.

Had to get this for our new Ninja Foodie toaster oven / air fryer. The rack gets blazing hot compared to our old conventional toaster oven. It's also great for our GE single/double over. Some of its racks are hard to pull with one hand, but this gizmo pulls and pushes with ease. It has earned a place on the counter between the Ninja and the GE. I just wish they did not bother with the weak magnet. It cannot hold the ruler up on a steel kitchen door when plenty of other lousy magnets work fine. I pried out half the magnet, but can't gouge out the rest, so I can't put my own magnet in. Also, the ruler feature is quite handy for shaping dough to length / width or diameter specs.

I have had one of these for my oven for years. When friends recently came to dinner, they all commented on it - no one had ever seen one. I bought six to gift to them.This saves burned fingers and as an added bonus, it’s a ruler which comes in very handy.The magnet makes it perfect to either stick to the oven or, in my case, the refrigerator which is right next to my oven.Great gadget. Would make a perfect addition to a shower gift.

Absolutely love this gadget. Earlier this year, we purchased a new double oven range. I found it awkward trying to get the oven racks in and out easily -- I am short. Saw this in a gadget store, and thought it would be handy, but did not purchase that day. We also have an RV, and the oven is kind of awkward to use. So I purchased 2 of these on Amazon, and I am so glad I did. My husband kids me "why didn't you think of this gadget?" It is one of the handiest tools in my kitchen(s). The only downside is the attached magnet -- it is rather "wimpy" and does not hold to magnetic surfaces. I keep my oven rack push/pull ruler in a nearby drawer, but you could easily glue a stronger magnet on it to be able to have it on a nearby metal surface if you wish. I think I will purchase some of these as Christmas gifts this year.

This is the second one of these oven rack pusher/pullers I have purchased. I have used the first one for years. It has magnets on the back, so it is handy to hang on the frig. I use it for quick measurements. It is big enough not to lose and small enough to have always at hand. Its major intended use is to pull hot oven racks forward and then push them back again. I moved not too long ago, and I made sure this tool was in the first kitchen box to be unpacked. Well, last week I asked my daughter-in-law if she had a spare baker around and she sent over the 8-year-old to help me out. He dutifully donned an apron and washed his hands and was elbow deep in cookie making before we knew it. Then the rack pusher/puller caught his eye. He grabbed it and hardly put it down for the rest of the time we were baking. When we were cleaning up, he announced his mother REALLY needed one of them. So what was a grandmother to do but connect to Amazon and order one? It arrived at their house yesterday and I saw it, yes, slapped up on the frig just like at my house.

When my oven rack puller first arrived it was broken. I was easily able to return it and a new one was sent as a replacement.

Magnet sucks but it’s a simple handy little tool for checking on your food without oven mitts

I use this twice a week when I bake no-knead artisan bread. I must say the item is standing up very well, especially for the price. It is minimalist, gets the job done, and saves my fingers from being burned. I would purchase again.
