This little box definitely works, but it feels more like a tiny Linux/Android computer pretending to be CarPlay than a polished factory feature. It does exactly what it promises: turns wired CarPlay into wireless and lets you run YouTube, Netflix, TikTok and other apps right on the car screen, which is great for sitting in parking lots, waiting, or charging sessions. That said, it has a slightly sketchy, hacked‑together vibe. Boot and connection times can be a bit slow, the interface feels more like a budget Android TV box than an OEM system, and you are juggling Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth and your phone’s hotspot to keep everything playing nicely. If you are a tinkerer who understands this is basically a mini streaming box dressed up as a CarPlay dongle, it is a fun toy that does the job, but it is not something most people will mistake for a native, perfectly integrated solution
