Good book for reference
Herbert Voss is well-known as a maintainer of PsTricks package. The publication of his manual on it in English language is eagerly anticipated. In the mean time he published this manual of LaTeX2e. This is an interesting and enlightening publication. I have been using LaTeX2e these thirteen years. There seems nothing particularly new here for me. But the book is well-written and well-organized. I imagine that it gives a good working knowledge on LaTeX2e to the general readers. But be warned; (1) the book's index is not so exhaustive as Knuth's "TeX Book", and (2) the book is printed in black-and-white format, whereas the author clearly has a more varied colorful presentation in his mind.
