APLOS AP20 Scuba Dive Light - 2000 Lumens Scuba Diving Flashlight, IPX8 Waterproof Underwater Torch with Rechargeable Battery and Charger

I have used this light several times since purchasing and it worked great. It provided excellent light on the dive and I really liked the ability to select different levels of brightness. The rechargeable batteries make this the perfect dive companion.

Great light. Strong beam. Tucks away into wetsuit easily.

Identical to my Genwiss XM-L2 LED. However, the APLOS is a little brighter than my 4 year old Genwiss that I have used on over 100 dives up to 150'. Not sure if the Genwiss LED lost a little bit of intensity over time or if this APLOS is just brighter. The aluminum hosing is very tough and I haven't had any leaks. The magnetic switch can be accidently switched on inside a pocket, draining the battery. I was already aware of this from my Genwiss flashlight. The remedy is to use a spare O-ring around the barrel and hooked over the switch. In my opinion, not worth paying more for the next model with twist on/off switch when I can use one of the spare O-rings for free.

This AP20 is not as bright as my AP15. Either the AP15 is more than 1500 lumens or the AP20 is far less than 2000 lumens. The AP20 has a simple magnetic switch which I hope will work at depth where my 2 AP15's switches didn't. I have not yet dove with this AP20, so can not comment on how it will work at depth. Note: the description shows that there are only 2 "O" rings (at the end cap.) The AP20 I received had 4 "O" rings, 2 at the end cap and 2 where the battery tube unscrews by magnetic switch. It also has a threaded ring there (by the switch) whose purpose confounds me - why or what is that threaded ring for?? If this AP20 works at depth, looks like a great product for the money...

Just dove for a week with this light in Roatan and it worked flawlessly. Great at night and in low visibility conditions during the day to keep the group aware of where each other are. I put some silicone grease on the O rings. I would buy it again.

These lights work great until they don't! I have gone through several, as well as other friends and coworkers. Even with regular freshwater rinse, drying and cleaning the connections, this flashlight does not hold up. Their advertised 2-year warranty is junk. When I reached out by email, they confirmed the warranty and when I sent the problems, I was left with no reply still, 2 months and 3 emails later.

Love this light. Very tough and compact. I've taken it on a lot of adventures. The battery life and power is impressive, very bright even underwater. So far I've had no leaks or problems with the battery. The only thing I don't really like is the way the switch works. Should be easier to simply turn on and off. I have two of these lights in different sizes.

Macht ordentlich Licht. und auf Stufe 2 -3 wärmt sie sogar bei der Hunderunde die Hände. (Stufe 3 würde ich an Land aber besser nur kurz benutzen.)

Prompte Lieferung Lampe funktioniert wie beschrieben. Aufbewahrungskoffer vermutlich durch den Transport beschädigt und dadurch unbrauchbar.

Ottimo prodotto: sott'acqua fa tantissima luce e batteria ha lunga durata. Ottime le pile ricaricabili. Da ricordarsi: non usare fuori dall'acqua (scalda troppo).

Arrived in time and as described. Seams solid, switch action is smooth, worked well for me underwater for inspecting the propeller on a boat (so not very deep). Also worked great for looking around my car when it was dark out.
