Liqui Moly20004 Hydraulic Lifter Addtive (2 Pack)

This stuff works if your lifter are noisey from dirt not from wear. I put in sn old car after flushing engine and it quited lifters. All the products seem to work. It will quiet a light tick not a heavy niise. You need to know what your buying and what its for. It works its not a repair but it works for annoying noize.

Works fantastic. Quieted down lifter noise in all three vehicles I put it in. 2004 tahoe, 2017 kia Sedona and 1961 thunderbird.

Edit: editing this because the lifter has completely failed on cylinder 2. This isn’t the additive fault and the lifter was too far gone to fix. I’m sure if I added it a few thousand miles before it might’ve helped but after 230k miles it needs a new motorI bought this so fix a lifter tick on my Chevy. I thought it would work since I read the reviews. But after adding the two bottles of the oil, and driving 300 miles. The tick has actually gotten louder. I’m not going to say that the oil made it get worse but it definitely didn’t prevent it. I’m sure it works for other people and I will give it the benefit of the doubt that my truck is just worn and nothing will fix it. But either way it didn’t perform the way I expected

It really did work and made the ticking noise coming from my 2022 Silverado subside. I took it into the shop and they couldn’t find the cause of the ticking without tearing the engine apart. They said it’s not affecting performance and to monitor it. They suggested this product and I’m glad they did. I’ll be including it in every oil change I do moving forward.

This stuff is the bee's knees man!!!!! I have a 2010 ram hemi with 150k miles. If you know hemis you know the issue with the lifter tick or aka"hemi tick" . Any who poured a bottle of this nectar from the Gods directly into the oil and wouldn't you know it, the tick is 90% improved and unheard by the untrained ear. This stuff is the real deal and I will keep this in my truck as long as it's still a Hemi. Cheers 🍻

Purchase this for an older model V6 that has a tick in the motor. Mechanics state is a lifter so I followed all the directions motor cleaning first fresh oil adding this product in with the oil, etc. etc. so far after 1000 miles not a single change in the noise, so don’t think this is a miracle additive. So until something different changes, I’m going to leave it in the middle of the road. It may work for your vehicle or it may not I do know that I’m probably not going to purchase it again.
