Copper Fit X-Back Brace for Lower Back Support – Adjustable, Breathable Design - for Men and Women (Small/Medium)

I bought this because of the copper fix-back brace, which has turned out to be my saving grace. I had fallen & hurt my lower back, & I was afraid to sit up on my own, because while I was healing, it would hurt anytime I tried. So when I got this & tried it, it didn't hurt when I sat because the brace kept my back from slumping over. I wore this for months & now when I sit it has me so trained that I can only sit upright now, I am way more aware of not slumping over. Needless to say, this product is amazing, & I still use it when I sit even though I'm way better than when I first got hurt. The make of it with two sets of velcro holds up very well, where some braces have only one that wears off over time, the second set of velcro on the outside is adjustable for my comfort.

I consider Copper Fit products to be excellent products made with quality materials. This brace is no exception. It is well made and provides excellent support. However, I suffer from sciatica and epicenter of my pain is very low on my back and to my left side, This brace tends to ride up more around the waist and does not provide support where I need it. Also, it has a copper plate that fits in a pocket over the small of the back. This makes the brace uncomfortable while sitting down as it digs into the back. This plate is removable. I plan to order another brace that is designed to provide support lower on the back and around the hip. I will keep this brace for possible future need.

The lumbar plate is solid and sturdy, so make sure it is centered on your spine before the final adjustment. Do not fudge your size! Purchase too small, and this may not be comfortable; purchase too big, and you won't get the support you need.

I bought this belt in the hope that it would help me alleviate my back pain—and it really did help a lot. I wear it at work for 8 hours at a stretch without any pain. When I was choosing the size, I was a little worried that it might be too small, since my waist measures 34 inches. However, the belt fit perfectly, as it is meant to be fastened quite snugly. We bought the Med/Lg size initially, for my wife. It was very comfortable and provided good relief for her lower back stenosis. This "X-Back" brace gave her the support and helped prevent her from further irritating her back during various tasks she was doing which involved back stress. After losing weight, to help the issue, the brace was not fitting well. We then bought the next size down, Sm/Med, which now fits very well. She had too much overlap of the velcro straps with the next size up. This back brace has helped her significantly to mitigate any further stress to her lower back. The brace allows her to move and sit comfortable now. This Copper Fit X-Back Brace is the best. The price is very reasonable from Amazon. She is very satisfied with this brace.
