The caps are wide, making them easy to fill with ice cubes. They seal well, so no leakage when the ice melts. They can be used directly on the skin without causing any problems. I used all three sizes after a hip replacement, in accordance with medical advice, and recommend them for pain and swelling relief post op. I have only used these as ice packs, so can't say how they perform with hot liquids.

These are brilliant, there cover my foot, knee areas as there mould to the injured swollen areas unlike the other square/hoblong products which only covered part of the swollen area. Fantastic price, popped them in the fridge as I did not want them frozen and there worked miracles on my knees, foot. I wished I ourchased these first instead of wasting miney on the others. I have arthritis in both knees/feet/hands etc..

Genuinely really pleased with these bags. Very well made, and they do a great job. Only used them as Cold/ice compresses so far, but they retain temperature really well, the fabric is soft but feels very durable. Highly recommended.
