It looks just as pictured, and is very pretty,and if only judging on appearance it would have been a 5 star. The issue I am having is that the dinner plate jiggles/rocks on the charger. Besides trying my bone china, other of my 10" dishes do the same thing. If you turn it upside down, that solves the rocking problem, but raises the setting to a height that may not be comfortable for the guest to eat from. I was really excited to add this "sparkle" for Thanksgiving but most likely will be returning as with the price I want it to work. The packaging was well done I ordered 12, but will be receiving three separate shipments on 3 different days (all were ordered together), so keep in mind if ordering for a specific occasion.

I use this on my countertop as it's a beautiful platter that can be used for serving food or displaying decorative items on a table, counter, etc. I ordered this in silver as a gift for someone and ordered a gold one for myself sometime later.
