I purchased the Aosu D1 Classic 6-Cam Kit about six months ago, and I have been very pleased with my purchase. The system was very easy to install, and I was able to do the entire installation myself. It has worked as advertised and has provided reliable performance. One of the cameras did fail after about a month, apparently because moisture or humidity got into the camera. This may have been due to my not properly resealing the control compartment, so I cannot necessarily fault the product for the failure. What impressed me, however, was Aosu’s customer service. They were very responsive and immediately sent me a replacement camera at no charge. Overall, I highly recommend this security system, particularly for customers who do not want to spend a lot of money on expensive equipment or ongoing subscription fees. The standalone system works very well, is easy to install, and provides excellent value for the money.

This is an awesome camera set! The pictures are clear and we can cover the entirety of the outside of our home. Since installing it, we've travelled extensively and have been able to watch our house at any given time. After about a month or so, we noticed one of the camera lenses had moisture behind it. We reported it and immediately received help and a replacement. I have never delt with a more enthusiastic, kind, and competent tech support EVER! Thank you, Lynette!! We continue to recommend this product to our neighbors and friends.

These cameras are very good. I have an older System I’ve been using and just moved and got this new system so I can compare. The setup is absolutely simple. Really just plug and play. There were no instructions so I called with a couple of questions and they answered fast and helped me. Once I downloaded the app, it was really simple. Setting the cameras at the angle you want us all in the app. I had to ask how, but absolutely simple when they showed me. Sometimes a camera does get out of its programmed position, but I check the app every day for activity and if I see a camera out of position, I reset it. Has happened twice. The videos are very clear. Night vision is not as sharp but still good. All of my cameras receive direct sunlight and stay charged all night long. The he hard drive included holds a lot of video. I’ve had the unit for almost one month and have not filled it up. Once full, older videos are deleted to make room for new ones. Overall, I am very satisfied. This camera system is well worth the money.

What I first had to do with these was plug in the supplied USB cords and charge the internal battery. You know when they are charged as the little green light goes out. How many cameras are too many? Six may be too many, but I have them overlooking my pool (1), two facing the preserve for the occasional wildlife (3), and two at different places on the front of the house (5)—the Sixth over the garage. Why it might be too many: these cameras move when they detect movement and stay on the subject. I don't have the largest house, and I get a bit of overlap when the cameras all start turning and looking. I am not connected to the cloud; I use the Home Base. I didn't think the home base would go through a concrete block house in South Florida. They do, and their cameras show both their signal strength and their charge level. The infrared or night vision switches automatically upon low light. When it turns on, you hear an audible click on your phone. You will get a very clear picture. Like any product, I hope these cameras continue to provide me with excellent service and a long product life. For what you pay for the 6-camera setup, they are well within budget. I edited this review to correct mistakes I made about the function. Update: very important if you purchase this product. If one of your cameras stops functioning, there are no replacement cameras available. Same name, same look. BEWARE: they are not the same camera and will not integrate with your Homebase. The only solutions are to purchase a whole new 6-pack system or to purchase the look-alike camera and place microchips in it. It will work independently of your base. However, it will show on your app. The warranty company refunded 1/2 of my purchase price. They also offered cameras with a new base that only controls the two cameras. So you will have two home bases. As each camera dies, and they will die, having up to 3 home bases is pretty dumb. I am trying the SD chip to see if this still keeps me off of paying for a cloud service. THIS IS AN AMAZON-ONLY PRODUCT. AOSU DOES NOT SUPPORT THEM.

These cameras have served their purpose very well. They are easy to set up, and adjusting the settings is also straightforward. The software is very user-friendly, and the motion detection works smoothly. As expected, the video quality is not the best since these cameras are not 2K, but they still do an excellent job of making my home feel safer. They are also one of the best options for managing up to six cameras at the same time. As long as the cameras receive enough sunlight, the batteries stay at 100%. The customer support is also excellent. After almost a year, two of the six cameras started showing foggy video due to internal condensation. Aosu quickly sent me two replacement cameras since they were still under warranty. I was very impressed with how quickly and easily they handled the issue. Overall, I am very happy with these cameras and the support I have received from Aosu.

We bought this system to replace a subscription setup we had before. We are so glad we did! There is no comparison for the price. The setup process was quick, simple, and very user-friendly. The cameras connected easily, and I had everything up and running in no time. One of the standout features is the mobile app. It is by far one of the best security camera apps I have used. The interface is clean, responsive, and packed with useful features. My favorite feature is the ability to view all of the cameras simultaneously on a single screen. Being able to monitor all areas of my property at the same time provides excellent situational awareness and peace of mind. The motion tracking feature is another huge advantage. The cameras intelligently follow movement, making it much easier to see exactly what is happening instead of relying on a fixed view. Motion detection alerts are fast and reliable, keeping me informed whenever activity is detected around my property. The video quality is excellent both during the day and at night. Images are sharp, clear, and detailed, allowing me to easily identify people, vehicles, and other activity. The night vision performance exceeded my expectations, providing bright and clear footage even in low-light conditions. The two-way audio is also surprisingly crisp and clear. Conversations come through with excellent sound quality, making it easy to communicate with visitors or monitor activity around the home. Overall, this system delivers everything I was looking for in a security camera setup: easy installation, an outstanding app, reliable motion detection and tracking, clear notifications, excellent audio quality, and impressive day and night video performance. It provides complete coverage of my property and gives me confidence that I won't miss a moment. I highly recommend these cameras to anyone looking for a dependable and feature-rich home security solution. We had a problem with two of the cameras not staying charged and the response from customer service was fast. They resolved our issue and they are shipping replacement solar panels as we speak. Would definitely recommend this system to anyone.

D1 Classic 6-Cam Kit. The good; Camera has good clarity and provides good options for intrusion detection. The camera also provides a good wireless range. The bad; Requires ethernet! Base unit has to be plugged directly into a router or Starlink thus limiting your ability for placement to maximize signal strength and concealment. Battery strength is low. There are 4-bars for signal strength. If the camera's signal strength is below 4-bars, it will drain the battery before it's able to recharge or maintain the charge. This is not the case if you have 4-bars. Camera's displaying below 4-bars will require an external solar panel which requires an unsightly type-C cable connected to the device. Although you're able to set intrusion detection fields, the camera doesn't send alerts until the people/vehicles are closer in range. The mounting bracket between the camera and mount is weak and has the ability to be blown off on windy days. I mitigated this by wrapping white duct tape around the connection stem. Aosu should provide a solar panel with sufficient charging to maintain a camera within the 2/3-bar range. They should also provide a Base unit which doesn't require an Ethernet connection. The mounting stem should be reinforced to accommodate windy conditions.

I purchased a set of six AOSU solar powered wifi cameras with base station in the Fall of 2025. Although setup was a breeze, I ran into a minor connection issue. The AOSU app let me call for tech support quite easily and I was very impressed with how fast and great their service was. After a few months of use, I noticed that one of the cameras seemed to have a defective internal battery. I contacted AOSU tech support through the app and within three days I received a replacement camera. I highly recommend these cameras as they were incredibly easy to install and setup without any wires and they perform amazingly well. They are a great addition to my previously purchased AOSU doorbell camera. My cameras and doorbell work on the same app so they are very easily accessed when there are alerts. The price and quality of the AOSU products is excellent. The service I received from AOSU tech support was exceptional. I will definitely be buying their products again in the future.

I’m really impressed with these AOSU cameras. The installation was straightforward, and the setup/synchronization process is one of the best I’ve ever seen, smooth and intuitive. The image quality is excellent, and the recognition system works very well, providing accurate alerts without too many false notifications. One small area for improvement: since I live in a bungalow, a few of my cameras had to be mounted lower than usual. It would be great if AOSU could add some type of locking mechanism or security latch to make it harder for someone to remove or steal a camera once it’s installed. Overall, this 6-cam kit is a fantastic option for anyone looking for reliable, subscription-free home security. Highly recommended!

Enjoying the cameras. Bought the 6 camera pack. One camera would not turn on. After getting help to try and make it work with no success I received an email by the end of the day telling me that they are sending out a new camera that I should receive within 5 days. Excellent customer service. Thank you

Camera battery is a joke they do not charge from the solar panels. One camera will work while the other in the same area won’t pick anything up. Very disappointed in the product and waste of time to setup and install just to find out they are junk

Only because the mounts are plastic and a bit flimsy. Wish they were metal. Otherwise great product.
