## Description

Viper HD binoculars are an optical masterpiece, giving hunters, shooters and outdoor enthusiasts a great option. The HD optical system delivers stunning resolution, color fidelity and edge-to-edge clarity. These are one of the lightest, most compact, full-size binos on the market: a noteworthy attribute when gear consideration can be measured in grams. Review: Quality Binos - These binoculars are high quality and the glass is very clear and does an excellent job in low light use. The price was good and the delivery was on time.
Review: Nice Mid Grade - I really like the Vortex lineup. I have another pair of binoculars, and a spotting scope. All great products. I bought these for a second pair and did not need to buy another top of the line pair. They do everything well. I am a wildlife photographer and do a lot of spotting and watching. I let others look through them and they can't believe the quality. I cannot justify swarovski. I do not make enough money from photography to justify. These cut through the heat waves almost as well. They view deep into the dusk, but not even close to using the spotting scope. I use them often enough to justify the price. They will last a life time. I take care of my equipment and there is almost nothing to wear out. Razor HD is a better pair if you really only need one binocular. Can't go wrong with Vortex. My only complaint for these or any other binocular is the cheap eye cap cover.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: For birding, would you recommend 10x50 or 12x50?**
A: For general birding (little birds as well as big birds) 10x50, or even the 8x42. Often when you're birding you're trying to get a bead on a small, active bird with your binoculars, so the field of view (the amount of area you see through your binos) is nearly as important if not just as important as the magnification, and typically the higher you go in magnification, the narrower the field of view. The field of view for the 12x50s is 288', and for the 10x50s it's 346'. I personally use a pair of 8x42s.

**Q: does this come with the glasspak?**
A: Yes mine did come with the Glasspak

**Q: Where are these made?**
A: These are made in the Philippines.I can say this too, crystal clear from close up to way out there.I think they’re great and they don’t kill your wallet either

**Q: Do the 10x42 vipers come with lens caps?**
A: Yes that do. They are joined in the middle and you can attach to your strap otherwise you would loose them

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bad Customer Service From Euro Optic
*by H***S on October 3, 2024*

These binoculars are very high quality. The price was good and the delivery was on time. My only complaint was that the owner's manual states to protect the lenses use the eye and tethered lens covers. I never received the eye lens covers. I emailed the company's customer service and haven't received a response. I called the company and could never get through. UPDATE: The authorized dealer (EuroOptics) was not very supportive. I contacted Vortex and they couldn’t be more helpful. They are sending me the missing eye covers at no charge. I love the binoculars. Crystal clear and powerful.
