Nest Cam Indoor (Wired, 3rd Gen) - Security Camera - 2025 - Berry

I’m very happy with this Google Nest Cam. The 2K video quality is sharp and clear, and the night vision works incredibly well, even in rooms with very little light. Setup was quick and easy through the Google Home app, and the motion alerts arrive promptly on my phone. The two-way audio is another great feature—the sound is clear in both directions. I also love its modern, compact design because it blends beautifully with my home décor. It gives me extra peace of mind when I’m away from home. Definitely worth the purchase!

This is a great indoor security camera, but it needs a few tweaks. The great part is that the camera's images are sharp, vivid, clear, and good even in the dark. Set-up is very easy with Google Home app. You can customize notifications to your phone from the camera. The price is good compared with the original Google Nest Indoor camera. Now, for the tweaks. First, the range of motion between the camera and its base is too little. You cannot get a full 90 degree angle (important for wall mounting in some locations). Second, the image can only be flipped 180 degrees, not 90-180-270-365 degrees like you do with a .pdf or document. As a consequence, you cannot mount the base on a vertical wall that that is perpendicular to point you want to capture on the camera (think of a cabinet/wall/door opening where the camera must make a 90 degree horizontal or similar adjustment to capture the area you want covered - either the top of the image is on the left or on the right side).

Really great camera for the money. Easy to setup, basically plug and play. Great picture day and night that you can zoom in or out. I use it outside under our porch to look at our cove watching boats go by and storms as they come and go

Have had these cameras since they were created by Nest over 20 years ago. Rotated out older models when Google took over. Own ten set up at this time placed inside and outside. Tried several other brands off and on to test them out but end up giving them away after testing out. These are easy to set up, wonderful pictures and definition, even on phones, tablets, and computers, the advanced subscription has very useful and easy to use features. Videos and pictures from cameras have been used for neighborhood police, delivery issues, locating kids and people and pets, etc. They are costly but considering cost per use ratio they are worth the investment even if one camera at a time. Works with google Home System and apparently with things like doorbells, thermostats and other home items if you have those. Only Fault: original outdoor cameras with magnet mounts worked great. The newest ones have a lot smaller magnet and do not hold. Had to buy L Mounts on amazon for mounting recent newer camera.

Decently improved from the decidedly average 2nd-gen. Better video, better clarity. Same good build quality and mount. If you're new to google (former Nest) cams, it's: * Very good for live view * Decent for alerting (motion, etc) * So-so for recording largely because the required app is typical google development slop, dramatically changing every few releases, breaking frequently, with clunky workflows that change far too often * The "with Gemini" cameras also reduced the viewable free recordings to only 10seconds each (going back 6 hours). * Overpriced for subscription purposes, especially with that awful app being the only interface to the camera. * Still not great for viewing through glass (eg, out a window) but it did work fine pressed up to the glass. Technical folks, keep in mind this needs several ports punched through your firewall for setup, but also for normal usage (which is different than previous models), including reaching Google NTP and DNS servers rather than using the ones on your local net.

I have several of these, they are quick and easy to set up, you can personalize the settings to fit your needs. Some of mine are in windows and some are inside my home. They work flawlessly, crisp, clear pics even through a window screen. Price was right, no batteries, these are wired. You can look at all your cameras at a glance, zoom in, zoom out... Peace of mind knowing who is at your home when away and when packages are delivered. The camera will alert you. Can't recommend enough

Looks good and is discreet. Works great in the app. Connects easily. Motion detection works great. I have two.

Con respecto a la cámara es de las mejores que he probado, así como la imagen, así como la app tanto para iPhone como Android son constantemente actualizados. El problema viene con los planes de renta, para poder hacer uso de todas las ventajas de la cámara tienes que pagar un renta mínima de $300 MXN, eso quiere decir que cada año estarás pagando una cámara extra adicional sin tenerla. Ahora bien, ese es el plan mínimo, pero el verdadero plan que funciona es el de $499 MXN mensuales, en ese plan tienes grabación continua de 24 horas y respaldos por 60 dias, pero toma en cuenta que estarás pagando dos cámaras adicionales por año sin tenerlas. En Mexico a eso se le llama robo. Es increíble como las empresas se están haciendo usureras con planes de renta en todo, ya nada es tuyo 100% porque estas cámaras sin esos servicios no sirven de nada.

Easy setup - night vision very clear.

No llegó y me urge y lo marcan como entregado y no encuentro cómo hacer que me manden otra ya. Si funcionan por eso estoy comprando mi 5ta cámara pero no está correcto perder dinero y no tengo como recuperarlo.

Es la 3era cámara que compro para mi casa y estoy muy contento con mi compra. El producto es bueno, pero le doy 1 estrella porque pagué por un artículo 'nuevo' y muestra marcas de uso. El vendedor es Amazon Estados Unidos.
