Is the Garrett ace 400 waterproof like can you put the whole thing under water?

Only the coil is waterproof. The electronics cannot be submersed.

No The ACE 400i is only available outside of the US. The i stands for international version. See Garretts web site for more info.

Water resistant, You will need to bump up to the At Pro to get waterproofing. This is basically an At pro with no waterproofing. Fantastic detector.
