I am prone to cold sores, but since using this stick, I don't get them anymore. It works at any stage of the cold sore. If you feel that tingle, use immediately and the cold sore will never even start. If you're in the middle of an outbreak, it will speed up your recovery by healing in half the time! You can also prevent cold sores by using regularly.It's a very thick formula, which I love because it coats my lips and stays on overnight without feeling sticky. I personally love thick formulations, but if you like lighter formulas, I don't recommend using this during the day. I usually keep two around. One is on my nightstand, and I use it every night before bed. The other stays with me in my purse for emergencies at all times, but I usually use a lighter formula, such as Dr. Bronner's unscented chapstick during the day.It's a relatively expensive chapstick, but I think it's worth it with the quality of organic ingredients and how it REALLY works to prevent/fight cold sores.

I bought a bottle of this Cold Sores "Be Gone" product at the local natural foods store, and it is the ONLY THING that has worked at SIGNIFICANLTY reducing coldsores... As soon as I put it on I can feel it 'working'. I put it onl LOTS throughout the day, and usually at the end of the first day, it's drying. Typically a cold sore would be a week before it started drying, and would get huge. Now I know, as long as I get to it fast, it's going to be minor, and honestly, most people don't even seem to notice them these days. They just look like a regular 'sore'. This truly is magic for coldsores! So grateful to find this on amazon and truing the stick works as well as the liquid I've used in the past.

Love this cold soar balm. It works well and also gives my lips a nice sheen.

This is my new favorite chapstick. Not only has it been preventing breakouts, but it really moisturizes my lips for a long time. I wish it was less expensive, but even still it's worth it. I'm on my 3 order right now!

I LIVE for this balm. I e been using this since it was a liquid 20 years ago. I don't even feel the tingle before my cold sores come on and it still works. I recommend this product to all my friends...for two decades now.

I've purchased this before in liquid form. Works much better than the stick. I get cold sores in my mouth, can't use the stick.
