Amazing heel spur pain relief
Was recommended by my husband's podiatrist for heel spur relief. He walks about 10 miles a day on hard concrete. They have helped him so much! Buying more so we dont have to wash as often.

good quality but...
I have a haglunds bump which is painful on the back of the right heel. this heel pad protects it well from the shoes rubbing. The elastic on the arch part is so strong and unstretchable. Usually you want this good quality but it cuts my wide foot circulation by the end of the day. I feel the gel pad is not thick enough to protect against bumping or hitting the heel which is very painful. I also think the price ia a little high for the little material you get.

I've finally found the perfect item to relieve my heel pain!!!
Oh My Goodness where do I start!!?? I have bought several items in a quest to heal my heel pain. They ranged from Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Heel Cushions to the very expensive Bauerfeind AchilloTrain Achilles Tendon Support, and a CEP RxOrtho+ Achilles Brace but this Silipos Achilles Heel Pad has been the winner. Along with the Dr. Scholls heel cushion, and the Silipos heel pad, I can exercise with no problems, and my pain has gone away because my shoes are not constantly pressing my heel. It's amazing. I have 2 and if I need more, I will not hesitate to buy more. As much as I wanted the other supports to work (they look so cool too!), they were not covering and protecting my actual heel. The gel pads were higher up to protect the achilles tendon area. I guess I have a Haglunds issue so this is definitely more appropriate. I'm just glad not to have heel pain and have my active life back!!! This is a stocking like material (it doesn't run) so it's light, easy to wear under socks and in shoes. You can also fold it down to hide it under ankle socks.

Not durable
After using for 10 days - wearing for 5 days with light hand washing every second day - the heels began to show holes from wear. They were worn as per written instructions however they were uncomfortable across & under the foot / they were comfortable up the back of the heel. I feel that the un-comfortability across the foot & the limited pain reduction is not worth the cost. If I had a the choice over I would try something longer in the foot portion and much more durable. Dr charged me $78.00 for one pair @ the time of our appointment/consultation & I purchased 2 other pairs off you for $72.56. Will not purchase these again but if you have a better fitting & much more durable product that does the same job then I await your suggestion.

Do a great job of protecting bone spurs
Like my title says these Silipos Achilles Heel Pads do a great job of protecting my bone spurs on my heels. Before I started using these approximately 20 years ago, I always had to deal with blisters, often times open bloody ones that I could only partly protect using mofoam and duct tape. These heel protectors are the best. Kind of expensive but worth it. I seem to get about 15 to 20 hikes out of them reliably. Sometimes more. What usually happens is The bottom of the gel pad starts rolling up and then it doesn't work as well. My only option to using these was to get some quite uncomfortable surgery that would have entailed a lot of downtime in bed. I really love these silipos.

not the best, but helps with Haglund's deformity
Not exactly what I hoped for. I wanted something with more compression to help with edema that I get around a Haglund's deformity. This didn't do it. I wear size 10 wide shoes, so I got the Lg/Xl. The material feels soft and is comfortable, but it is a shapeless sleeve. It was pretty snug at the top and bottom bands, but the material bunched up and felt baggy on top of the foot. It has stretch, and feels like thick pantyhose. If I had gone down a size, I think the top and bottom bands would be too tight. The pad feels nice against the back of my foot. Once it warms up, it molds to the skin and doesn't slip around. It is thin enough that it can be worn with shoes. It provides a little bit of cushion, but not too much. I have only worn it for one day and the edges of the pad already look like they are starting to rip. I don't think it will last long.

A bit thin on the gel, but work well
These heel pads help with my husband's heel problems. We've ordered this exact brand before, but this time the material feels a bit cheaper and the gel coating feels thinner. Either way, these still seem to work well to help with is heel problem, so I can't complain too much. I just hope these will last a while.

Relieved the pain - although obviously did not stop it……. by wearing the sock under my socks the cool gel pad provides a bit of comfort when wearing shoes too.
