Shells for Hermit Crabs - Large - 2 pk

Land hermit owners take note: Both of the shells we got were not suitable for our land hermit crabs. Neither one had the round opening they desire, and both were too spiky and heavy for our crab's manuverablity. All three of our crabs politely declined these shells, and moved into the proper turbo shells we purchased seperately. They became decorations. Probably only suitable for water hermits.

These shells are covered in a gloss. The round one is so thin and brittle I can see my finger THROUGH it. Description said "real" sells but these feel soo fake and unsafe.

I bought these shells because they are real shells and received lots of good reviews. I thought they were too big for my hermit crabs; however within one day of placing these shells in their habitat, one of the crabs moved into the large shell. It has been wearing it ever since. It's a lot of shell, but it doesn't seem to bother it as it is a really active hermit crab.

The shells are way too small for our big hermit crab. The spikey one wouldn’t even be useful as it’s more for decoration.

Not a le to use for hermit crab they are painted or dipped in so form of shellac. Shells for hermit crabs are suppose to be NATURAL. waste of money time and effort.

Shells are very nice. Size is what I needed for my hermit crabs to “move in”, although so far they have just explored them. Price was comparable to others so I am happy.

The two that came were significantly bigger then 4 inches and the shell openings were oddly too tiny to house a medium size growing hermit crab. A complete waste of time buying these..
