Sleek and powerful lights!
Very good lights!Need to see how strong it is going to stay, only time will say that. The beam throw is wide enough for road use and goes far as well, useful in dark unlit highways and country roads.Got the lights for my hatchback which has weak headlights. The lights were not properly aimed when the photo was clicked(was clicked during trial drive)

Sweet little lights. They aren’t the brightest out there, but they’re among the cheapest. Used these to replace 2 round halogen off road lights on an old Joyner buggy front end. Took the 4 round up top off and put a lightbar by another company up there. These little lights produce quite a bit of light for their size. I’d say they’re kind of in between a spot and flood. Not nearly as “spot” like as say a Baja designs spot would be. They’re more like a flood from Baja Designs.Housing seems well made for the money. Wire harness looks good. Mounts could have used some longer bolts, but that’s going to vary with everyone application, so you can’t fault them for that. I put longer bolts and a few shims under mine to raise them up above the front tube bumper area.Simple cut and splice install for me. Already had the old lights wired up, so I simply cut, connected together, and heatshrunk over the connection. Only two wires, so just like everything else, you simply need power and ground and off you go. Can use a relay setup or not. Mine already had a relay, but I wouldn’t be too scared to wire them direct.Probably not the brightest or strongest ever built, but for the money, I’m happy. Off-road lights get hammered, and unless you spend hundreds of $ on nice top of the line lights, these are cheap enough to run em until they quit and get a new pair. If you aren’t racing Baja I’m sure these will do just fine for your weekend warrior bashing. See lightbars on practically everything these days, and at this price, for the amount of light they produce, that is probably why.

An honest and thorough review of product construction, wiring, waterproofness, mounting method, and illumination.
This is my review after disassembling them to inspect the construction of each one. They have an interesting side gasket design which appears adequate for creating a water tight construction from the sides. The front lens is sandwiched against what appears to be a silicon strip to seal against with three screws on the top and three on the bottom, and is also sandwiched between the side seal gasket for a waterproof seal along the top and bottom as well as the sides. Although the 6 screws do appear to adequately press the lens against the silicon strip to create a water tight seal, I would have preferred it if they had used 8 screws instead of 6, to allow for a more even distribution of pressure against the lens and seal to minimize stress' in lens flex. The wiring gauge is sufficient, although I would have preferred to see a slightly heavier gauge with a higher strand copper wire and a silicon insulator, and the soldering of the wires and LED's to the circuit board is very well done. Additionally, there is no doubt in my mind that the seal for where the wires pass through the housing will never leak water. Very impressed and satisfied by the sealing method Auxbeam used for this. The only disappointing feature I discovered with the manufacturing process of this product, which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5, was with regard to the thermal paste used between the body housing and the circuit board to keep the LED's as cool as possible. And I don't feel it's a trivial matter. The purpose of thermal paste is to aid in the rapid transfer of heat generated by the LED's to the aluminum body housing and cooling fins. Although there was a very thin and very small strip of thermal past between the circuit board and the body housing, it only covered approximately 2" X .25" of the center section of the top and bottom LED rows, leaving two-thirds of the LED's at a great disadvantage toward transferring heat and remaining as cool as possible. Heat is the enemy toward LED longevity, and not having enough thermal paste will limit the longevity of their usefulness. There wasn't nearly enough thermal paste to allow for even heat transfer from the LED's to the body housing. I do hope Auxbeam works on developing a more thorough application process for the thermal paste.During disassembly, I did find the three screws on one side of only one of the lightbars to be 3/32" longer than all of the other screws of both light bars. A bit odd, and longer is better, but it's not an issue to be concerned about at all.Although the overall construction of these lightbars is well done, I did use an application of silicon sealant to further insure it's waterproof status when I reassembled them.As for the mounting and performance of these lights, I will have to return to this review after installing them in the spring, a time when I won't have to freeze my fingers off to install them. My application of these lightbars will be only in combination with my high beams, and I don't recommend anyone uses these lightbars in combination to their low beams for safety reasons. These lights are too bright for use with low beams, and they will make it very difficult for oncoming traffic to maintain their view of the road and visibility.First impressions of mounts and illumination: I much prefer the bottom mount method that comes with these lightbars, as opposed to the side mount method, and I don't foresee any issues with it's mounting method. The light is very bright with a tightly focused beam, but not too tightly focused to lack the benefits of adding just a little bit of nearby bleed off to aid in illuminating the road more closely in front of the vehicle as well. The reason I'm drawing attention to this detail is because there are other much more costly lightbar manufacturers, and they boast about having a super tight light beam to project the light farther. However, a tighter beam of light to project farther isn't necessarily a good thing when it neglects to aid with nearby illumination, particularly for when driving on roads.

Bright enough
Mounted in openings for fog lights. Still working on getting them angled lower so as not to blind oncoming traffic.
