This was exactly as described, plastic. It’s very thin and flexible, easy to work with. I used to to wrap around the spindles on my deck so my small dog doesn’t slip through.A dog could easily bite off and eat it though.

It looks just like the 'original' wire-type poultry netting, but it's plastic. Based on the picture, I thought it might have been mis-labeled -- because it looked like wire in the photograph (which is a pain to handle) -- but instead, it is soft plastic. For my application (keeping small critters out) this works perfectly -- and very easy to handle, with no sharp wire edges or difficulty in spreading it out, like wire can be at times – although, it is still rolled up, so it does take some 'man-handling' to roll it out, since it does try to roll back up. But once it is attached to whatever you are attaching it to, it does not take much effort to stay in place – where wire would take a more secure attachment method – in that regard it is much more convenient. Also for this price, it is a very cost effective method for the distance that it covers.I would caution one thing: based on my own experience on a farm, I do not think this product would make a direct replacement for wired poultry netting. I could see a determined critter chewing or ripping through this to get to your chickens. For my application, I'm trying to keep rabbits and such out of fenced in area where the fence pickets are wide enough for a young-one to slip in between. It is a strong product – but a determined critter, with perseverance, I believe could rip it apart, where they probably could not do with wire.Another bonus with this product, like another reviewer mentioned – when up, it is "almost invisible" (well, maybe not ‘almost’ but close to it) – I really like it that it is not so obtrusive on my fence. Great price – great value! Bought 3 rolls - I'd buy more if needed.

I knew this was an excellent product before I ordered it. The mesh is easy to work with and does not tear easily. I had purchased a roll from a local retailer, and it had not been restocked/available for quite some time. I chalk this up as a testament to it's popularity. This is a quality poultry netting, is versatile and has great price point. I was thrilled that Amazon had it. No more repeat visits to stores to find that it is sold out.We use this to encourage new grass growth on our lawn. We place it over exposed dirt and new growth and anchor it with lawn staples. We previously had no success with these "trouble spots" on our lawn due due to repeated foot traffic and the wear and tear of our active Golden Retrievers. It successfully prevented our romping Golden Retrievers from scattering the newly laid seed, digging up the exposed dirt or otherwise disturbing new growth. And, you cannot even tell it is there.It has been down for over two months, and I have repeatedly removed it and relocated strips to different parts of our property as needed. It takes a lot of wear and tear without damage. We do not use chemicals on our lawn, so growth is slower but has been a huge success -- due to this poultry netting. I'm sure it will be good next year, too. By the way, I've ordered other sizes of mesh, netting with different material/different brands (we have a large garden), and this has been the best to work with.

This product works, but it wasn't nice neat strips of material like you would expect. Most of it was fine but toward the ends it was irregular and at times not as wide as it should have been. It served the purpose, but I was a little disappointed.Also, this is not good for keeping predators away from your chickens. A raccoon does not care to tear through it with ease.

We adopted a Jug and our deck has openings where she would get out. I was looking for something not too expensive that I could use to enclose the deck but also keep out little puppy safe within our yard. This fencing/netting does it job. It went up pretty easy, I was able to taunt the fencing enough to get a snug fit with not ripping or breaking. Used my staple gun and had the netting up fast. Keeps our doggy safe and in the yard, she is able to run freely and I have no worries of her getting out.

I waited 6 months to write a review because I wanted to see how it performed. After 6 months of use, I can say that it has exceeded my expectations. We have a shadow box fence with large gaps between the boards. After adopting 2 small dogs ( an 8 pound Papillon mix and a 14 pound Sheltie mix from Real Good Dog Rescue of Memphis, Tn), we needed a way of making sure they could not escape our back yard. I read the reviews and decided that this might be the answer. It was easy to install with a staple gun and the dogs see it as a solid barrier. They don't even try to get out. I highly recommend this product for any purpose resembling this. Two thumbs up!

I bought this because it was the correct height to use to protect my raised vegetable beds from raiding rabbits, etc. I used it on one bed so far and will have to surround the other four or so. It is flexible so I can lean over it and cuts easily for the sections to be protected and applied. This is a bit unusual to use to put on a the stakes that I have and just use some twist ties to hold to the stakes and then together. To keep little critters like chipmunks from crawling under, I have stapled it to the raised bed frames. So far so good with the radishes and carrots being protected.

Needs complete framework to attach on in order to keep any small animal, rodent, bird out of garden area. Will not stand on its own. Very flimsy and practically useless except for garden trellis to grow vines up, but again needs to be attached to frame.Highly recommend G & B 889240A 36-Inch x 25-Foot 3/4-Inch Mesh Poultry Netting from Amazon as this is great plastic netting that is durable. I have purchased several of these and tried to save some money as I did not need the 3' height for another use. Bad decision on my part.Not worth sending back as shipping charge would eat up any refund.

Las posibles opciones para resolver el problema eran caras o complejas de instalar como la malla de gallinero que es tiesa y se atora con todo.Esta malla es más sencilla de instalar que otras opciones y hasta ahora no se ha roto y mi gathijo no se la ha comido. Tiene aproximadamente dos meses de uso. Es muy ligera y no se atora con la ropa. Eso sí, para el fin que lo ocupé, usé muchos ganchos plásticos para sujetarla.El color es gris metálico, así que no es muy visible.El tamaño es exacto como el proveedor señala.Buena compra.

used it on my balcony to prevent my cat "exploring" too much over the railings...it's barely visible, it was very easy to put it on the railings (using the cable zip ties), it was a great find here on amazon :)

very light, might work for small chicks but definitely did NOT work for very small puppies. They used it as a kind of vertical trampoline. Lots of fun but not very good at confining!

Looks like the real stuff... came today and I went right out to put it up and keep my chickens out of the freshly planted veggie garden... So far so good!!! Would be great (5 star) if it came with poles

Flexible. Durable. Colour is ok, but if there were a "greenish" colour, that would be perfect. Anyway, it's a great product. Very important is that the delivery was on time.
