Drycast Cast Comfort Itch and Odor Relief Spray

**A total lifesaver\! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** This cast itching spray helped me SO much\! The itching under my cast was driving me crazy, and this was honestly the only thing that helped me tolerate keeping my cast on\. It provided such a huge relief and made the whole experience much more manageable\. I will never have a cast again without having this spray on hand\! If you’re dealing with an itchy cast, I highly recommend giving this a try\. 🙌🏼

Kiddo keeps getting itch attacks inside the cast on his arm. According to him, this spray is the only thing that relieves the itch. Brilliant how it comes with a thin tube that let’s the spray get further down the cast. We showed it to the surgeons, they didn’t mind him using it at all. The only downside is that it only works for a few moments after spraying. In our case, this has been enough curb every attack. So far, we went through 3 of them and just ordered one more for the last week. Grateful.

The contents of the bottle work really well at preventing smell and itching in my foot cast. It even helps prevent my ankle from feeling chafed when I’m walking on it. Though I’m using it in the winter and it might be less effective in the summer with increased sweating. The downside is the design of the applicator- you have to just hold a long straw to the nozzle and spray. When it fits perfectly it works well and directs the entire spray into the cast through the straw, but I find that at least 75% of the time half of the spray ends up on my fingers because the straw isn’t perfectly fit. I would recommend a better bottle design. Though right now this is the only spray I found on amazon so I would buy it again if there were no better options because it does do its job to a degree.

This is not worth the price. It’s essentially just athletes foot spray with a straw. Maybe $15/can might be worth it, but I feel they’re marking it up because it claims to be “special cast spray” Honestly, the scratcher we bought elsewhere that you can attach baby wipes to works far batter for cleaning and odor control. My son said it provided some itching and cooling relief, but it did nothing for odor. All that said, check the ingredients. Do you really wanna be spraying a bunch of gasoline (ethanol), butane, propane, baking soda, and cat pee (urea) down a confined space like a cast and have those chemicals sit on your kids skin for weeks on end? I wish I would have read the ingredients first. After 4 weeks the can is still almost full. Would not recommend

Hot Texas summer+High humidity+cast=unrelenting itch. I was going crazy from the heat and sweat and itch! This stuff saved my sanity. It was easy to use one handed on a wrist cast, just wiggled the tube into the right spot and a quick blast was all it took. It felt sooooo good when my cast got intolerably hot and itchy. Stopped the itch immediately and cooled down the heat. It also prevented my cast from smelling awful. My doctor recommended this stuff and it was worth it. One can lasts a long time, too. I had a cast on for 6 weeks and maybe used half the can. I used this product daily, at least two or three times a day.

I expect that what is being sold on Amazon are lots that failed Q/A inspection. The tube does not fit into the nozzle as one would expect it to do. It looks like it should just slide in there and then stay put so you could spray and the product makes it into the tube....there is a channel...but alas it does not fit so it stays and you just have to kind of hold it there — Just right mind you — tube is tiny so as to slide into the cast area without harm. Takes 2 hands and a bit of luck. IF you are able to get the product near the itchy area it does work and my daughter sighed a deep sigh of relief. Poor product design. Truly needs to be fixed or this lot pulled and real saleable product marketed on Amazon. My finger has tested the product in advertantly also obviously and it feels cooling, but my finger was not itchy so cannot personally say either way.

this product is amazing. Pros: definitely stops the itch, cooling feeling, quick dry, easy to use, life saver, good for sensitive skin. Cons: tricky to get the clear extension tube attached to the spray nozzle (especially with a broken hand, really need two hands to connect it) as others have mentioned. Other notes: - it does provide some momentary moisture which is technically against the casting rules, but it dries very quickly/the cast cotton tends to absorb it fine without impacting the fiberglass material. - leaves a light power residue which was a bit odd to see during the cast removal, so would recommend using a long itching stick to clear out the residue every now and then to prevent residue build-up. - i have EXTREMELY sensitive skin but this product worked extremely well and would recommend/gift it to anyone that is newly placed in a cast.
