Great value
Great value extra large bag 3kilo delivered within 3 days they’re great quality most shops now charge around 75 pence for around 2 oz in a pokey little bag we have so many grand kids and great grand kids we can keep them happy with a great old favourite Dolly mixtures 😀

Never as soft as fresh shop ones
Had several packs over the years, ranging from ok to very hard. They never feel as fresh as supermarket ones

the sweets are very good. However the bag could be better made as a resealable, but i expect that would add to the cost

Not What I Expected
I've purchased Dolly Mixture from Amazon many times, and never had any problems. But this time was different. I discovered that the brand name on the bag was actually 'Kingsway' and NOT 'Barratt' as shown in the description. Perhaps that should have been a warning. However - they looked like Dolly Mixture and I was overdue for a fix of my favourite sweets. Not having any teeth left, (Sorry - I'm 79) I like them because they are soft, they taste good, and are easy to eat. I took four in my hand and popped them in my mouth. What a disappointment. They were very hard, as if they'd been left out in the sun to dry. I kept going, thinking they might soften up after a few minutes. In the end I had to discard them. For me, they were unlike any Dolly Mixture I've had before. The BBF end date was June 2022, so they weren't out of date. But I DON'T like - nor do I expect - Dolly Mixture to be rock hard. The good news is that as always, Amazon treated me as a valued customer and did not hesitate in giving me a full refund. There was none of what you get from some sellers - offering a discount of £2 or £3 pounds and refusing to pay for return postage. The young lady who helped me was a wonderful ambassador for Amazon.

No good for Christingles!
I bought these to make Christingles. However, the sweets were so hard I could not get them on the sticks and we ended up buying a load of random sweets.In the past they have been ok but last year and this too hard - wondering how long they’ve been around…..
