Works but gets hot
I'm not sure this plug should get hot, but I do not think it is a concern. I just feel it is noteworthy since the listing says it has overheat protection. I'm replacing another one that gets even hotter and has begun melting the plastic casing. I've been fixing computers for 30 years and generally advise people to buy new power cords when they start getting significantly hot.

An Overall Satisfactory Product
I ordered this for an older HP my sister handed down to me. It’s a perfect fit, and seems to be charging the laptop just fine. The cord is also a sufficient length. Can’t say much about the durability, as I’ve been using it for only a few weeks now, but it seems to be sturdy enough so far. It is a fairly good value for the price, I’d say.

erratic output - died after less than six months of use
I bought this and it sat around for awhile while I was getting my shop set up. I intended on using it with an HP All-in-One 24-g026 which would act a a host for my 3D printer and other operations. HP's are picky and will refuse to boot if the power supply does not provide the correct voltage & amperage.For a short time this adapter worked and the computer would boot and function properly. Then randomly one day, mid-print, the display spazzed out and I had to unplug the adapter.The computer would no longer boot.I tested the DC output of the adapter with a multimeter and was surprised to see it was no longer stable.It now jumps around between about 14V to about 27V, never remaining stable.Pass on this one, everyone - or risk damaging your sensitive electronics.
