Focused Mind Jr. Cognitive Support for Children, 60 EZ Melt Tablets

My 7 year old son has diagnosed ADHD, and one of his biggest struggles since he was 2 years old has been emotional regulation. He's such a sweet, tender little guy, but his anger and devastation at the smallest things was so frustrating for us and him. He'd get so angry he would hit, kick and spit at his siblings, which at 7 is not age appropriate. We tried weekly therapy which he is still in and loves, but we didn't see a very significant improvement. We decided to try medication for his quality of life, but our insurance wouldn't approve anything except for one medicine which he reacted poorly to (it made him grumpy and mean) Out of desperation I went the natural/vitamin route figuring its worth a shot. Oh my gosh 😭💗 I am SO eternally grateful for this product. We're half way through our 3rd box which puts him at about 2.5 months of focused mind jr. He takes it as instructed, one in the morning and one at night. It was around the 2 month mark when I suddenly realized his emotional regulation is SIGNIFICANTLY improved. I think the improvement was slow, and since I'm with him all day everyday (we homeschool to help meet his academic needs with adhd) I didn't notice the slow change, but once it got to a certain point of improvement, I thought back and compared his behavior to a few months prior and realized the difference is day and night. I decided to write this review because I was chatting with my mom, who is very close to my kids, and she mentioned how well my son is doing and how he seems so happy and regulated. I told her I was happy to hear she noticed too, because I was thinking maybe it was all in my head (because it seriously seems too good to be true). She encouraged me to write a review, because isn't that how most of us decided to give a product a try? As far as being able to focus on school work, I can't say if it has improved for him because we do school in short spurts, and he has all my attention on him, opposed to a teacher handling a classroom of kids, so it's hard for me to say whether he has improved there, but holy crap, the emotional regulation is literally just.. so amazing. I feel like my sweet little boy can finally truly be himself and navigate life easier. He's having an easier time making friends, playing with siblings and friends, and his confidence is definitely improving. I am so grateful for this product and if you're on the fence, just try it for 3 months. It's a very small financial investment compared to other vitamin adhd kits I've purchased, and this is the first thing that has gone above and beyond any results we could've hoped for. I was told my son lacked focused when he started Kindergarten. As he grew older, we noticed it wasn't so much he lacked focused, but that he can easily get distracted but can easily be re-directed. I found these online by doing research and have been giving them to him since he was 4, he is now 9. This has worked like a charm for us, better than getting him medicated by a doctor. You have to give it time and be consistent with it. It does take about 30 days for you to see full results. And it takes more than one pack for it to work. I have never stopped giving it to him. And ever since he has been on it, we have seen improvements. Also, we haven't had any complaints from a teacher ever since his last incident in Kinder. I would def recommend and trust the process! Just make sure you are giving your child one tablet in the am and one in the pm just as directed in back of the box.

I really like this product so far! My son is only 3yrs old, but has already been dismissed by 2 daycares/schools for behavior/safety issues tied to his ADHD. (Yes, he's already been seen & diagnosed by a pediatric psychiatrist. Friends have tried to dismiss his behavior issues & chalk them up to being 3, but any teacher who has spent time with him could see a clear difference between him & his classmates.) Anyway, just when I was at my wit's end and almost ready to resort to prescription meds, this product seemed to start working for my child! It took about a month. I will admit that we also took him to a chiropractor for a couple of adjustments that same week, so I can't say for sure what is working. Is it both? Is it one? Maybe time will tell (and if so, I'll post more here). All I know for sure is that my child loves how these melts taste, takes them very easily (despite some sensory issues & being a very picky eater) and he is FINALLY starting to understand consequences for his behavior and is sometimes able to think ahead about the consequences & change his behavior. This is HUGE for us! He is also coming back to me after he makes a bad decision, confesses it on his own & apologizes and tries to explain why he did what he did. Again, this is a really big deal for my son! As a parent desperate to help my son, I would do almost anything to help him. Who would have thought that this very reasonably priced OTC product could be the answer? I've already bought two more months worth. I'd definitely say this product is worth a try! (PS- I learned of this product from the friend of a college student who swears by this! She said it helps her focus.)

We started out on Adderall for my daughter who has high functioning Autism and ADHD, inattentive type. She has a hard time focusing in school or getting any work done that requires extra effort or discipline. Unfortunately, Adderall didn't work and gave her intense mood swings, so we stopped it. After some research, I found Creekside's Focus Mind Jr and loved the stimulant free, organic ingredients. She absolutely hated the taste and gagged on it. However, we stuck through it and shortly after starting Focus Mind Jr, her teachers expressed that they noticed some improvement in her work. She didn't require as much prompting and was able to independently do her work without constant redirection. I was thrilled about the news so we continued the medication. This company stopped producing the Jr. version for a while due to an industry wide ingredient shortage. When I reached out to the company, they recommended us to try Focus Mind Max since my daughter was over 8 years of age. My daughter loves the gummy flavor and has been on Max for a couple of months. We just had her IEP meeting and I was disheartened to hear that her current focus and attention span was worse than it was before we started any medications. Max didn't work for her. This is why I gave 3 stars. 1 star for Max and 4 stars for Jr. I am hoping others will have better luck than us. There's only one way to know if it'll work, and that is to try it, because our children deserve to be the best versions of themselves. I am hoping this medication helps everyone who reads this review because I know how hard it is as a parent to have a child(ren) who lack focus. Good luck

I wanted to like this product, I was really excited about the reviews thinking it would help my 8 year old settle down. Instead it had the absolute opposite effect! It caused him to act out so bad in fact that he did things in school he would never do and was sent to the vice principal’s office!! My son!! I realized lying in bed tossing and turning wondering what happened to my child that the only thing that changed was what I had given him and that another parent mentioned her kid having a similar reaction. Keep a close eye on your kids!

After our 6 year old daughter's ADHD combined diagnosis, and choosing NOT to go the route of prescription meds, we chose Focused Mind Jr as a solution that had potential without having a drastic change on her routine or quality of life. (transitioning tasks, activities is one of her most difficult areas) We chose a 2-a-day regimen - one at breakfast, and one after school. As many other reviewers have noted, it took a few weeks to see a marked change, but... it has worked very well. What we observed, was her emotional state become so much more stable after just 2-3 weeks. Her tantrums and outbursts went from averaging 8+ a day, to 2-3 a day. Its almost like a switch was flipped, and now she could see that she was in control of her own emotions. Its also worth noting that before this supplement, she could not be still long enough for us to explain the simplest things. It was like her body was one of those wavy noodle machines you see at car dealerships. She still has that same amount of energy, she is just harnessing control of it much more effectively. Its no longer "nervous" energy. Its been about 6 months, and she is doing great. There have been no side effects, and she loves the flavor. cant stress this enough - if you are struggling with an ADHD child, give this a shot. We were desperate to just get a little bit of peace, and this product has had such a positive effect on her and our family as a whole.

Tried this product for my 6 year old after 2 months of using another brand. After a couple weeks we've seen a major improvement in attention span and we're not the only ones who noticed. Our son isn't formally diagnosed but likely ADD/ADHD. We did not want to jump to mediation and he is homeschooled and not having social issues so the pediatrician decided to wait. This past week his religion teacher told me he had a major improvement since the week before and was listening, raising his hand answering questions. He was engaged in his co op class, participating and following directions. At hockey practice he did everything the coach was instructing the kids to do. This is a kid who would wander off, constantly needing to move, fidget, randomly sing to himself. My mom even mentioned how she was able to read him a long story and he stayed focused the whole time. I highly recommend for any kid like mine. Only negative is he hates the taste.

We started this supplement with high hopes. He is 6 and has autism as well as ADHD.No other medications on board. First off my son loves orange actually one of the only flavors he will take aside from grape. He hated these. They are very large I used a crusher and put the supplement in pudding. He took it that way. At first we thought it was helping but by day 4 or 5 he was becoming more violent. He never hits or throws anything and he was doing this. He didn't sleep and was more emotional than normal. We had to stop the supplement. He went back to only having one or two bad school days a week. Now we can't say for sure it was the supplement but that is the only thing we changed. The one benefit we did have was he did better on his school work. Had the highest test scores those 4-5 days then previously. But his rage just wasn't something we liked.
