Macgregor Recreational Volleyball Net, 25-Feet

Net fits perfectly on my 24' round pool. It's good quality and seems strong with hemp rope on top and nylon ties top and bottom. It looks and works great, no it's not Macgregor but who cares for $25 when it's well made. 😀

Many buyers have already pointed out that this net is not the Macgregor brand. I don't know why the description keeps saying it is after so many reviews. That is deceiving. One point deduction.Speaking of quality, overall it is good. There is actually a hemp rope through the top strip of the net, which I could not believe after seeing some reviews, but it is true. The rope is strong but very ugly. Pne point deduction. I will definitely replace it with steel wires with only $7 for 30ft. Nylon twines that make the 3"x3" net hole are strong and nice. The net has one white top strip, two black strips on the sides, and one black strip on the bottom. This makes the net looking good. So given the price, you may still think worth it for beginners.

Although not necessarily regulation size, this is truly a competition level net in my opinion. I followed the direction of some previous reviewers and upgraded the main cable to a steel line for stability, but this net is all I was looking for and more.

Got this for my daughter to be able to practice at home to supplement organized practice and just to play with friends and family. Lighter in gauge than a regulation/ tournament style net but more than adaquate for recreational use. More important to securely mount the net than the actual net itself. Mounted each end between two 3ft strips of 1"x1" wood slats screwed together. Then attached those ends to two trees in the yard. Created nice even tension on the net. Very secure. Works great.

What I ordered was a 25’ long but 3’ wide MacGregor volleyball net. What I got is what you see in my photo. Also, the net is NOT 3’ wide. It is precisely 21” wide. 😡. I’m afraid after I unpackage it that I’m going to also discover that it’s not 25’ as promised. The netting does appear to be well made but again, THIS IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED!! False advertising by using a MacGregor photo and selling it under the MacGregor name. This is a GoldMedal Athletic Products net.

Very durable has held up for 6 months now

Great fit to our outdoor court. Was hard to find a 25 foot net so we were thrilled when this one was available and at such a great price! Have only used it one season but it did well so far.

It is a decent recreational net for the money. I'd prefer a net that has heavier duty edging.
