PurexCrystals In-Wash Fragrance and Scent Booster, Lavender Blossom, 21 Ounce

With all the different scent beads available on the market, this is the ONLY one that works & dissolves in cold water! I’ve tried other brands, but they’re waxy, actually stick to my clothes & never dissolved. The fragrance is wonderful & lasts for weeks. I’ve been using Purex crystals for years & wouldn’t want to use any other. Delicates often need to be washed in cool or cold water, there’s no other that comes close. I highly recommend this over any of the ones available. This is the best of the best!

I hate to tell anyone just how wonderful the product is…..don't want it to disappear from the shelves so I can't find it!I use it for two things. For my clothes and it is WONDERFUL!And the other? To sprinkle on the dog droppings I pick up out of the yard after I sprinkle on the Arm and Hammer cat litter deodorizer! The can has to sit too close to my patio and makes me super nauseous, so use these two for the cover-up, and makes a huge difference. Of course, I also have THREE scented garbage bags in there to tie-up once all is said and done. I know…gross. BUT useful information for those who have four giant breed dogs in their back yard!!!

I absolutely LOVE the scent, how soft it made my clothes, and how long it lasted. A little goes a long way! I am only giving this 4 stars because this product caused me to break out in a rash on 70% of my body. I was itchy for a good 4 weeks. I am not allergic to anything and have never had this reaction to any other scent boosters, and I have tried many. This is my fault for not testing a new product on a small area of my skin before using, but I just wanted to provide a heads up for anyone who may have sensitive skin, or who may not have thought to test it before using like me. Such a bummer because I really love how amazing it made my clothes smell!!!

Ever since I have started using Purex Crystals for an in-wash fresh booster, I haven’t been able to go back to not using anything at all. In our household, we have one large and one small dog who love to roll in the grass outside and track in mud. So, I have designated towels for washing them and cleaning up messes that often smell kind of funky, even after being thoroughly washed. I have noticed a difference since I started using the Purex crystals, and my “dog” towels now smell amazing. I also use these in every laundry load and our clothes smell fresh and clean. The only items I don’t wash as frequently would be jeans and bedding, and I would say the scent holds up pretty well (more so on the bedding). I picked out the scent Fresh Mountain Breeze and even my picky boyfriend doesn’t mind it. I love the amount of booster crystals you get in one bottle and you can easily determine the amount you need depending on the size of the laundry load. The only thing I dislike about this is the bottle cap; it’s flimsy and often I waste time trying to get it back on, but otherwise it perfectly fits in your hand with the slimmer design in the middle of the bottle. Just got done doing laundry and I was reflecting on how I was introduced to the Purex crystals 5 years ago when my now deceased step mother came 3,000 miles to visit me. She was using these crystals and showed them to me one day at the laundrymat and I've been hooked ever since. So I decided to come tell you about them sort of on her behalf. :) I love that it goes directly in with the clothes right at the beginning no need to remember and no gunk in the machine's dispensers where liquid softener usually goes. They always come out smelling so delicious and soft and a little goes a long ways. I usually just put about a half of the top cap full and that has worked great with all my clothing from jeans to bedding and the smell lasts a long time. I did laundry like two weeks ago and now going in my drawers getting ready to put things away the smell just waifs out at me. I love that and I also love that I don't have to rely on the detergent to leave my clothes smelling a certain way so it let's me buy a more affordable detergent as well. I can tell you after using it for 5+ years, I highly recommend it and I won't switch to anything else as long as they keep making it! Thanks and have a great day! ~Kiki
