Just Dance 2019 - Xbox One Standard Edition

I love the whole Just Dance series. This one has some significant improvements. Specifically, there is a preview of the dance which really helps in deciding which song to pick. Also, while you can save your own playlists, there are ever-changing auto playlists generated daily which keeps things interesting (note - I realize now that these just keep rotating. I haven't noticed any new and fresh playlists, so this isn't as cool as I first thought). I love the new songs. Many of them have an ethnic flair which I think is really fun. I do have some suggestions for future improvements: I wish there was a way to navigate by voice (with kinect). Having to keep a controller nearby and to use it for every song change is annoying when you are trying to exercise. There is the auto dance feature, but it's a lot of time waiting in between songs (although it feels like less time in between than on the 2018 version). I would also love to see daily totals for calories on the sweat mode, rather than a cumulative total. I want to know how many calories burned for today's workout - having lifetime totals is not helpful. But in spite of these little annoyances, I do love Just Dance! What a great way to workout!

Worked great and awesome game

My family loves this game! We have a great time dancing together along with the dancers on screen. All of the songs are censored but there are still a few questionable lyrics for younger ones. This isn’t really a big deal because there is a pretty good selection of kids songs to choose from. I love that we can all play something fun together while also getting a great workout! The kids ask to play everyday after school and I say yes every time because I love to play too. The songs that are included in the 2019 version are great but I opted to get the yearly subscription to just dance unlimited, which is pretty affordable considering how often we play.

Bought this game for Christmas for our kids and it has by far been our favorite family game. We initially used our smart phones as we did not have a Kinect, but our kids do not have their own smart phones and so they couldn’t play without ours. We finally bought a Kinect sensor and it was a game changer! Has a kids mode for more age appropriate songs and has ability to buy more songs if wanted. Overall great game. Worth it to buy Kinect sensor though even though smart phones do work.

I loved just dance as a kid, granted this isn't the year I had thought I had but it is still good. Packaging was good and the game was without a scratch!

Playing just dance with an Xbox Kinect is the way to go. Holding the lame controllers in your hand or a cell phone is not the way Just Dance is meant to be played. With a Kinect you can Just Dance, and it picks up your whole body, not just your hand. With the phone or controller I can out dance my wife because I just do the hand part. When we use the Kinect she beats me badly because she can actually do the moves and the Kinect picks it all up.

Kids love dancing to this. Great way to keep everyone entertained during quarantine. We are using the Kinect so I cannot review what it is like using the phone. I prefer buying the game as opposed to subscribing to the monthly plan. Can keep kids entertained for awhile
