This must be the fastest review I have written for a product. Got the bottle just a few hours ago and I really liked the ink.The bottle describes the ink as "Audacious Red Ink". The colour is quite good and lively. It is priced 8 times higher than Parker ink. But the premium is worth it. The slight problem is that I found it a bit thick - not a "problem" at all and it might be due to the brand new fountain pen I am using it in.

The ink itself is quite nice. It is smooth and bright!Although I must admit that I was quite disappointed with the torn packaging and quite possibly an used ink bottle. There isn't a visible reduction in the quantity, and hence I won't be bothered applying for a replacement.Product is value for money.

Gladdens your soul that there are such therapeutic inks in the market. Not really a bright audacious red, rather a nice, softish ... pleasingly blissfully flowing red ink in a superbly vintage classic bottle. Truly safe and nice. Make no mistake ... it is a Waterman, no less.People cribbing about costs ... it was manufactured in France. So let it go.

I got latest version of this ink that is Waterman Audacious red. The color is bright and beautiful and it is not dark as sheaffer skrip. This is ink is very good ink for almost any type of FP (old or new) because it's a wet ink. No clogging issue at all. You can purchase this ink if you hate friction or feed back between paper and FP's nib.
