King Kooker14103 Stainless Steel Slotted Spoon

I've tried lots of slotted spoons in plastic and cheap stainless, and all of them were lousy. This one is a huge improvement- it wont bend, it's long enough to reach comfortably to the bottom of my stock pot, and it's well-proportioned. The only issue I have is the handle end, which being flat digs into my palm when I lift large things, like a chicken, out of the pot. That's not much of a complaint, and the price is excellent. Recommended.

Every Monday I hard boil 600 eggs for the homeless. This is the spoon that I use to do it. It is well made. It has a long handle so I do not burn my hands when I work with the five gallons pots of boiling water. Two eggs fit nicely in the spoon each time. It is a great spoon.

I have a 2 gallon cast iron jambalaya pot and it is just the perfect size.

Nice heavy duty spoon. Nothing to complain about. Pretty good finish. It's not high end smooth but a good buy for what it is. It's not going to flex or bend unless you try to pry something with it or pick up a twelve pound turkey with it.

This spoon is perfect for stirring my vegies while they are in the basket on the grill. I used to use a spatula because I did not have a spoon with a long enough handle for me to reach the back of my grill. This works perfect and it doesn't make some of my veggies jump out of the basket like the spatula did. It is a great weight too.

I purchased this for home-brewing, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. This is a very heavy-duty slotted spoon which should last you for years. It will not bend easily, unlike some of the thinner sheet metal spoons out there, and has served me well with my brewing endeavors. It's of better quality than any I've seen - certainly better than what was available at my local homebrew store.

It is a big spoon use it for canning, works good. But makes hands tied, after filling 7 quarts with vegetables.
