Still the best option
The classic double-step wine opener is still the best solution. I’ve owned all types of openers and eventually they all fail. This type lasts the longest, is very portable, and is inexpensive enough to leave behind at a friend’s house or replace when needed.

The best corkscrew design
This Pulltap hinged corkscrew works every time, without fail, unless you have a rotted cork. It's a solid build. Much easier to use than other seemingly-similar corkscrew designs.

Received an opened box with misspelled words on the packaging
The box came with a seal across the opening that reads "Pulltex Quality HIGHT QUALITY GUARANTEE." That seal was already broken, and the interior cardboard packaging was ripped. I have no idea if this is an authentic item or not but it certainly won't work for the gift I had intended it for.
