Diamond Dotz Freestyle Adhesive 4oz - Designed specifically for Diamond Dots Ideal for large areas and freeform designs. Suitable for most surfaces including wood, glass, metal, fabric and so on. Apply a generous 3mm thick layer with brush or spatula. Allow for 1-2 hours to dry or clear when the glue is dry. Tips: When dry, the adhesive will stick to the touch and form a strong bond with the dots. Water Based & Non-Toxic

Review: I love diamond dot painting; I've been doing it for well over nine years. This dotz glue is amazing at saving paintings when I need a specific glue. When I have a piece of canvas that isn't tacky, I apply a little bit of this glue, let it sit for a few minutes, just until it's tacky, then I can apply more drills. This glue is also good for bedazzling with crystals. This can also be used for other crafts. It is very versatile. It dries clear so it won't change the color of the project. The size of the glue is perfect for just about any craft idea. Be sure to gently shake it because the top will be more liquid than the bottom so a slow, gentle shake will incorporate everything together to allow it to be used. It is really easy to use. Just apply a very small amount and allow it to become tacky, then you can use it in any way you want. It dries completely in about two hours. If you're looking for a great glue for most projects, I would definitely recommend this glue. I believe this glue was a great value for what I paid for it.

I applied a thin later of the product to the canvas and did not have to wait long to be able to start my diamond painting. I also applied some to the canvas and waited to see how long the stickiness would last and 24hrs later it's still sticky and ready for work

**Q: would this work for applying individual dotz in a canvas?  I have a few areas where the adhesive isnt as strong as it should be**
A: This glue was created for the craft of apply Dotz.  I don't know what kind of glue you are currently using, so I can't comment on if this glue is stronger, just that it is specifically for applying Dotz.

**Q: Does it go on clear**
A: No, it goes on white and dries clear.

**Q: What area can I cover with 4oz?**
A: I have used the 4 oz on several paintings it covers a lot of area

**Q: Will this glue keep the picture shiny?**
A: Because the glue is designed to dry sticky/tacky I order to secure the diamond art drills, I’m not sure how you would use it to “keep the picture shiny.” If you are trying to find a sealant to apply over the finished art, this would not be the correct product, in my opinion.

Very thankful to have found this product! I am working on a large 16x20" diamond painting and it has several random bald spots where there's literally no adhesive or else very little adhesive in areas. This product works perfectly to repair the areas with deficient adhesive. Just make sure it's dried for a few minutes after it turns from white to clear, then it will behave as expected. The product is easy to use, I just brush it on with a small paint brush and wait until it dries clear. I would recommend having a dedicated paint brush for this product, because it leaves a bit of residue on the brush after washing it out. The product brushes on thinner than typical school glue, so I would recommend using a soft paintbrush (like a water color brush). This product seems to be a good value for the price. It's a good sized bottle. The bottle is a bit larger than the most common size for craft paint for reference, and in that same style bottle. It dries perfectly clear.
