Perfect for toddler. Some 8 cards are irrelevant like fire truck, corn, etc. Words are not very relevant to Indian lifestyle

Fun flashcards
These flashcards are actually really great for early learning. The “touch and feel” textures keep my Grand interested longer than I expected, which is saying a lot because this tiny human has an attention span that usually lasts about 3 seconds. The pictures are bright and easy to recognize, and I like that they’re sturdy enough to survive being grabbed, chewed, and at times dramatically tossed around. Overall, a fun, interactive set that makes learning feel like playtime instead of a work. Would definitely recommend for busy little hands.

Great for babies to school age!
My 20 month old sone loves these word cards. I wasn't quite sure what these would be like and I actully though they would be more like puzzle piece cards that we have in other toddler books. However, as you can see in the photo, they are more like flash cards. They are packaged in a nice cardboard box (made out of the same material as a baby "board book"), with a Velcro flap attachment. The cards themselves are about six inches by two inches. On the front they have a picture of an object or animal, with part of the image made out of a "tactile substance", such as fake fur or metallic paper or cardboard. The front of the card also has the name of the object/animal printed in English (be aware that this is American English, so "jelly" for "jam" and "sweater" for "jumper"). On the back of the card there are several questions to ask a child about the image and a separate section showing what word (and phonetic pronunciation) for the image is in Spanish, French, German, and Chinese (does not say whether it is Mandarin or Cantonese). These cards will work for babies through to primary school. A child under one would probably like to look at the cards and touch them, my toddler likes to look and feel the cards and say what is on them (or repeat the word after me) and older children can talk about the image and use them as flash cards for the words in foreign languages.
