Best ever I've bought 6 of these so very delicious. I buy year round. You must try. I love the whiskey flavor and always fresh.

This tastes fantastic. You can eat it a tiny slice at a time as a special treat. I bought 5 on special offer, so that says it all. Perhaps the full price is a little steep as many have mentioned but no-one is forcing us to buy. Great product for those who appreciate the finer things. Moist, fresh, fruity and yes, you can taste the whisky too.

This cake was delicious and had a good amount of fruit and nuts. I didn't taste the whiskey as much as I expected but still enjoyed it. We had half on Christmas and half on New Year and it made a nice little desert after a somewhat large meal. However, for the price it seems like it could have been bigger.

Tiniest $25 cake I ever bought. I feel the pictures were deceiving. It was tasty, but there are other cakes equally as tasty that are a better value. Customer should pay attention to the dimensions of the cake and not just look at the beautiful picture.

Very good tasting, has a little bit of an aftertaste, you can taste the whiskey in it, not good for kids under 21

Delivery of this product was very prompt. I was looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, I did not read the fine print regarding weight. This is a fruit cake flavored with Scotch whiskey.Very good Scotch whiskey, but ... It is roughly the size of a very large muffin. 14.1 oz., it is extremely dense, and moist. So much so that I found it impossible to cut into slices. Any attempt to cut it left me with a plate full of chunks and crumbles. The taste is good, extremely sweet. There were too many raisens in this cake, which is probably why it could not be sliced. I would not order this again. It doesn't cut nicely, attractive dessert presentation is not possible, and I have never had so many raisens in a fruitcake. Everyone knows that raisens are not expensive. Next to no nuts, citron, etc. And waaaay too expensive. $16. What a waste! Back to Entenmanns excellent, delicious, easily cut and served good ol' American fruitcake. I can always put my own whiskey on it.

I buy these as go to gifts for a friend of mine who really enjoys them. She goes on and on about the quality and how delicious they are. She says they're always fresh and delicious. Inexpensive gift that is very festive.

The taste was ok, it was a thick based dessert. It tasted fresh, very compact, a little dry for a cake in my opinion. I was very disappointed in the size of the cake, I ordered one for our Christmas dinner and one to be shipped as a gift to a very close friend. After I saw how small it was, (it fit on a saucer) I would have cancelled the order, but because of timing, I could not replace the gift. The cost was excessive for the size of the cake. I’ll go back to making my homemade Quality Bourbon Fruitcake as Gifts in the future.

Nota: el whisky cake no es grande, el tamaño real se muestra en la foto. El producto llegó muy bien empacado. Al tacto se siente bastante suave, el pastelito se encuentra bastante fresco, tomando en cuenta que no es temporada. Lo probaré y actualizaré mi reseña para emitir mi opinión. Actualización: esta brutal!!!! Tiene un sabor formidable ! Notarás de inmediato las notas del whiskey. Me pareció extremadamente delicioso, su consistencia es muy suave. No está seco y realmente disfrutas el whiskey en tu paladar. El cake tiene muchas pasitas . Si no te gustan, este postre no será de tu agrado. Realmente lo recomiendo!!! Lo amé.

Not enough whisky flavour. But enough if for guests who drive. Surprised at small size on opening, but also surprised at portions lots of saturated fruit pieces. Xx
