I have thick, wavy/curly hair that has lost a lot of body since I moved to Michigan. Will this bring the body and particularly the wave back ?

I used to work at Cosmoprof, a wholesaler of professional beauty products that only sells to licensed hairdressers, and over my time there I got to try pretty much every professional shampoo & conditioner available. Also, I learned a LOT about all different types of hair and what works best for them. Thick, wavy/curly hair tends to be dry and needs more moisture than straight, fine hair. I think this shampoo & condition would NOT do much for your hair type, it won't be moisturizing enough. You should look into the line called "DevaCurl" made specifically for curly hair - everyone that used it said it did wonders to liven up their curly hair. If not, then there are 3 levels of this shampoo & condition from Tigi - this green one is for least damaged hair - I would get the step up from this. It's called "Recovery" & comes in blue. But, try Deva Curl if you can! Hope this helps :)

Will this weigh down fine straight hair?

no it will not weigh down fine hair, I am living proof, bought this for my husband who has lush thick ash blonde hair, a daughter that has thick long brown hair, and I have very fine baby hair (very long in length) in a medium ash blonde with red high lights. I alternate in 2 shampoos and one cleanser, and this is my back up. hope this helps

Is it moisturizing for dry scalp?

My hair stylist used this product line for my hair, and it was quite irritating. It took about a week for my scalp to stop itching. I wouldn’t recommend it for dry scalps.
