"The Excellence of Execution
The Hitman Bret Hart DVD is truly a great dvd. This is a must have item not just for Bret Hart fans but for wrestling fans as well. Discussed are his start in high school, his Dad's mastery teaching at the Dungeon, Calgary Stampede Wrestling, The Montreal Screw Job, The Death of Owen, The deaths of his fallen friends and former colleagues, and Wcw having no control about anything, and many more. All of the matches were handpicked by Bret himself including two classic matches with the late great Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig, Ted Diabiese, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Diesel, Chris Benoit, Stone Cold, Undertaker, and Hart Foundation battling The Rockers which was actually a decent match but ended too early due to outside interference by Demolition. I wish that they would have had Bret Hart wrestling interviews and promos before matches. And the other thing that I wish was on here was more matches, it could have been a 4 disk set with more matches. Most of Bret Hart's matches were really good but left off were Hart Foundation Vs Demolition, Hart Foundation Vs. Road Warriors, Bret Hart Vs. Bam Bam Bigelow from 1993 King of the Ring Finals, Bret Hart vs. Razor Ramon from 1993 King of The Ring, or The Royal Rumble, Bret Hart Vs. Shawn Michaels from 1997 Survivor Series, The Hart Family vs Shawn Michales and the 3 Knights from the 1993 Survivor Series, Bret Hart Vs. Steve Austin from 1996 Survivor Series, Bret Hart Vs. Jean Pierre Lafiette 1995 Monday Night Raw, Bret Hart Vs. Ric Flair for the WWE championship from 1992, And before he was Kane he was Dr. Isaac Yankem DDS (brought in to WWE by Jerry Lawler to destroy Bret) Bret actaully had some great matches with him, and I would have also liked to see more Wcw mathes-Bret had a good rivalry with Lex Luger, Diamond Dallas Page, Randy Savage, Sting, Goldberg, and Booker T in Wcw, and there was another match Bret had with Chris Benoit for the vacant WCW World Title, and also missing is the Classic 5 on 5 match from Canadian Stampede In your House 1997 with The New Hart Foundation taking on Stone Cold, Ken Shamrock, LOD, and Goldust (this match can be found on the Brain Pillman DVD for anyone interested)All in all this is a great DVD and one of the best I have. I give it 5 stars and Being Bret Hart was in all of the matches I give every match a minimum of 3.5 stars.

Best Wrestling DVD ever?
Now I don' really know what I was expecting when I purchased this DVD, but I know that I ended up with the best wrestling DVD I have ever bought. Wrestling with Shadows was #1 but it is now a distant #2.I have purchased many tapes and DVDs over the years, mostly "classics" and have never been in a big hurry to put money into the WWE's hands. A year or two ago I relented and bought "The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection". That had been the only other DVD I have based on a single wrestler (beside WWS mentioned above) and as a result my only point of comparison. There is NO comparing this DVD with the Ric Flair DVD. Flair's DVD is just matches and TV interviews. I do like the Flair DVD but my respect for Flair has decreased more and more as I hear more about him.Disc #1 contains a fantastic 2-hour synopsis of Bret's career. It covers his days in Stampede to his introduction into the WWF and eventually WCW and his career ending concussion. We learn more about the mule kick from Goldberg, Shawn Michaels telling Bret to get out of his ring, the ineptitude of WCW, and of course Owen.Being that this is a WWE video, Montreal is covered but only lightly, and does not tell the true story of why Bret left WWE. Watch WWS to see it unfolding in real time. There are lots of interviews with Bret, Vince, Shane, Mick Foley, Chris Benoit, Edge, Christian, Roddy Pipper (wow, I had no idea Bret was the first to pin him cleanly) and many many others. The interviews with Bret are post-stroke and at times are very emotional. There appears to be the beginning of reconciliation based on Bret and Vince's comments. It's interesting too because Bret comments that his favorite matches are mostly one's in which he lost. And after viewing all of the matches in the set, I have to agree.Disc #2 and Disc #3 contains lots of really good matches including his fantastic tribute match with Chris Benoit. But I have to admit, I will be watching Disc #1 over and over.

The Excellence of Execution.
This biography was really well done and in depth but I was disappointed that they didn't include the first time that Bret won the WWF Championship Title from the Nature Boy Ric Flair and by submission non the less which is the second title he won using the sharpshooter in the WWF the first being the Intercontinental Title from Mr. Perfect the late Curt Hennig and then pinning Roddy Piper for the first time in his career at WrestleMania VIII in Indianapolis, Indiana to win it for the second and final time, also he won the WCW World Championship Title by submission as well 7 years later at Mayhem over the late Chris Benoit, I was glad that it did however include his WrestleMania X match with his youngest brother the late Owen Hart showing that even though he lost that match to Owen he was still proud of Owen's and his own performance during that match.

Excellent release
The Hitman is one of my favourite ever wrestlers, and it was such a shame to see his career ended so abruptly. This DVD does a good job of taking the viewer through his career, from Stampede to WWE and WCW, with Bret himself heavily involved. The match selection is great, highlights for me being the matches against Stone Cold, the Bulldog and Bret's brother Owen.

Like the Hitman, you'll love this set!
The set was handpicked by Hitman, so you're getting what he wants you to see from him. It's pretty damn good too. Screwjob is not included. As a matter of fact, neither is their Wrestlemania encounter. Even still, this set is fantastic!

Also codefreien DVD-Player anschaffen !!!

THE BEST OF HITMAN
