Shock Doctor Pelvic Protector for Hockey, Hockey Pelvic Protector, Youth & Adult

Very good protection for a 9 year old hockey player. Good fit. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because boys cup is a bit sturdier, but my daughter likes it, and said it was good skating with it.Now, I was upset that Shock Doctor is not producing long hockey protective pants for girls (they only have shorts). So for my 9 year old daughter, we got medium boys pants, removed the boy cup and put this protector in... My daughter likes it a lot. You can see that the pants have extra fabric in the protective pocket, but it does the job. I actually could not find any hockey pelvic protections pants on the market for girls, so this plus boys pants solved the problem.

I do medieval reenactment combat and I changed out my kit. My new kit doesn't have the skirt that my old one did. I stepped into the fray one time and just missed stepping over a spear as it was being raised up after a throw. That is when I went home and bought this. Very comfy, I can wear it all day at Pennsic and don't feel any more gross there than anywhere else.

This was perfect for my 5 1/2 year old daughter for tball where everyone has to wear a cup. She wears a pair of bike shorts and then underwear over that and it slides between them. Otherwise there was chafing on her thighs when we did it with two pairs of underwear, the shorts helped a lot. She doesn't complain about it once we figured out this system. Feel it would work for a long time if needed for any other sports.

Girls size is big enough for 5'6" woman. NOT using this for sports, just old lady tissue protection, so trimmed down the wide foam sides to make it smaller and more comfortable. Wearing between two pairs of underpants.

For those wondering, yes this protector will work with the boys shockdoctor hockey pants. You just take the boys cup out and this one fits perfectly.

I waited to review this product, because I wanted to make sure my daughter was able to wear it.This is her first year playing softball and I wanted something to protect her. We gave this a try, and it actual works, u can’t even tell she has it on and it’s very comfortable.Very happy with this purchase.

I am a martial artist and I use this Shock Doctor Women's Pelvic Protector every time I train. I would like for it to have a little more coverage but it is a good general protector when you don't want to have to wear the bulky groin guards used for sparring. We only spar every now and then, so a bulky groin guard is rarely necessary. This pelvic protector allow me more movement and flexibility.

This is a great protector! I use it for karate when we spar. My only problem is that I can't find good compression shorts to put it in. It rides up in normal guy compression shorts so I ended up modifying them by sewing in a piece of Velcro into the protector pocket to keep it in place. Now it stays put instead of riding up to my lower abdomen. I think this protector is shaped well and is fairly comfortable.

Bought for my daughter to use with compression pants my son grew out of for hockey. Perfect fit, no complaints. So great to be able to get just the Jill. My daughter is 6 and the pants are the Bauer ones, size xs and this fits perfectly.

muss sagen, dass es beim Bewegen doch ganz schön verrutscht und man es immer wieder richten muss... was bissl blöd aussieht. aber es ist natürlich sonst äußerlich deutlich unauffälliger bzw. gar nicht sichtbar im Vergleich zu einem was man drüber zieht. Ich habe mich bewusst gegen einen Tiefschutz-Slip entschieden, da die meisten hinten eine Schnürung zum Binden haben und ich mir vorstellen kann, dass es wehtut wenn man da nach hinten drauffällt!
