Ocho Rios Oxtail Stew Seasoning

I had no idea it had MSG in it. Gave me the worst headache in my life. I been avoiding MSG for years for that exact reason, after I ate it I looked at the ingredients... im disappointed in myself bc I should have looked first... it ok, ill find someone to use it.

This is the best pre-mixed oxtail seasoning I have found, having tried numerous brands (including some of the more well-known ones). This one has no sugar or fillers, just the right blend of seasonings. You can use it by itself for a decent oxtail dish, or combine it with green seasoning, browning, Worcestershire sauce and fresh chopped aromatics and marinate overnight for truly special stewed oxtails that will impress even your Caribbean friends.

This is really good and spicy. It’s more complex then the one they sell at Walmart. It’s savory and hot. It gives a good flavor, aroma, and color to braised meat.

This seasons so good. Don’t plan to cook ox tails without this, ever!

I use a lot of seasonings to cook and when you get one with MSG, you can spot the difference. I'm not saying it doesn't taste good, but my taste buds knows something is there that usually isn't. Maybe it's my pregnancy as well because after one use, I can't stand it.

Loved this seasoning! After a recent cruise to Jamaica my husband feel in love with oxtail soup. So, as soon as we returned home I tried my hand at making my own version. He remarked that he enjoyed mine even better than the one on vacation! The seasoning is not too salty which is great. Definitely will keep in my seasoning rotation.
