This Book is very helpful for Artists, Lots of things are explained. Complete guide. I am being an artist I recommend this.

I am glad I bought this, spending money on books is never a waste of money.

A comprehensive book about a legendary painter and his works.

Upside: Good quality glossy pages. Has all the paintings. Has a biography of Van gogh given in a story like form. Downside: small pages. Some of the most important paintings are spread on two page and the bind in the middle makes it difficult to view the full painting. Its a spoiler. Also the narrative discusses paintings which are on a different page so one has to constantly go fack and forth.

I loved the Book! Everything according to my expectations. The book has the all the paintings of the legendary artist and with each painting is given a very detailed description. Explains his life through his paintings and the paintings through his life. The quality of pages and book is good. A must have for a Vincent Van Gogh fan. I am a Vincent Van Gogh fan, and I wanted to know more about his life and his paintings so I was looking through books to buy to understand it better, this book is according to its quality and content which won't disappoint you. I highly recommend this book.

Packaging was trash no bubble wrap or anything directly in a paper bag with no protection bt the book is overall good

Delivered very fast. The book would be nice in larger size with more higher-resolution pictures. A little corner and few pages of the book wrinkled by the envelope.

Ottimo libro, compatto e ben fatto.

In light of the ongoing Van Gogh exhibition in Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, I bought this book to edify myself about his mammoth oeuvre and its long-lasting influence. This book covers the Post-Impressionist poster child's journey from the moment he breathe to the denouement of his short and tragic life: as a tortured man and artist. The book is well-researched and written (albeit opinionated) in an engaging narrative that is, for me, impossible to elicit boredom, paired with beautiful photographs of his impressive, eye-catching body of work.

An excellent book! At A5 size it is not quite the perfect coffee-table edition it would have been were it A4 size & it misses out his little known works influenced by the Chinese works he studied for a while. Yet if you are interested in Van Gogh's work it is very informative & well illustrated.
