The directions are accurate and it goes together well. The yarn that is included in the kit does not seem to be the nice Rowan yarn from the original pattern book. It's some cheap, low quality yarn. If the child you make it for is just going to look at it, then it's not a problem. However, the child I gave it to played w it a lot, and the yarn got nubby and frayed. Also, the package does not include enough pipe cleaners. You will have to buy more. I like the needles that came in the box. They were made of very pointy wood.

This was bought for my son, who knows how to knit and also has a lovable beagle. I think that if he (my son) has time to knit the stuffed beagle, he will enjoy the process and the result. I don't know how the live beagle-in-residence will react.

Very cute. Unfortunately did not give enough yarn to finish the project. I had planned to purchase several more. Now I won't be buying any. I was very disappointed.

Unlike what it's stated, this is certainly not for beginners. I had to research several times on the various stitch types.

I made this for my sister-in-law. She has always had beagles. It is an adorable dog and the kit is the most complete I have ever bought. Nobody includes the stuffing and the needles.

Terrific little kit - my beagle came out perfectly, just like the pictures. The kit includes everything you need, and the directions had only one mistake - very unusual for a knitting pattern. Love it!

Bought as a gift, looks really comprehensive with all the bits you'd need to complete it- Needles- wool- stuffing etc. Pattern looks easy to follow.I saw another reviewer dismayed at the inaccuracy of the beagles head?? It also doesn't bark, or chew through things- another inaccuracy…i soon got over

Very good product, for anyone who likes knitting. Comes with everything needed and it's fun to make.
